Difficult assembly, but a good device.

This actually looks pretty nice and is sturdy when assembled and a good size for an Amazon. Washable tray is good. The assembly is not pleasant, but in the end it worked. Worst of all, the 3 small ladders are not assembled and are VERY difficult to assemble - almost abandoned. There is no mention of this in the instructions. It would be much better to send all the ladders assembled.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

Outrageous quality control!

Where is Quality Control? You can't assemble this according to the instructions without making a lot of modifications and drilling a lot of holes. I ended up reassembling it, and I only had to drill two new holes, but they were in the ground. If my work was worth anything, it would be an expensive playground. This is my second playground and the first (cheap) one also required building services to build.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Power outlet required

Really badly drilled

I have collected 3 or 4 of these over the last 20 years, eventually they will need to be replaced. It was always difficult, but I could do it. This one is completely messed up. The vertical ladder has moved more than 2.5 cm, the ladder cannot be attached to the upper catwalk. Now I have to take it to get it back, which is a problem for me due to its weight. Caitec should be ashamed of causing such inconvenience to customers. I'll try again with a replacement but I hope it doesn't happen again.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Slightly wrong

Nice bird gym but difficult to assemble due to sloppy drill holes

Once assembled this is a good medium sized bird gym. However some of the pre-drilled holes were drilled in the wrong place so it was very difficult to fit! I had to sand down the corner of a piece of wood and put considerable effort into putting it together. Also, holes have been drilled into it to be a mirror image of what is shown in the advertised image and on the box. While not terrible, birds are creatures of habit, and anything new bothers them. I had an old Acrobird that has served us…

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • I will add later

This stand was purchased to replace a stand bought about 10 years ago which speaks for the quality of a product used daily by our migratory birds. As per previously published reviews, this bass group suffered from quality control. I shuddered when I realized this was the same item we were struggling with a few years ago due to mismatched parts and additional drilling required. I'm happy to report that the current product has all the pieces fitting together correctly, although it took a few taps

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

After much searching after our blue eyed 30 year old passed away we got Rio, Tobago with orange wings. She was only 3 1/2 months old when we brought her home this summer and this play stand was one of our first purchases (not from Revain though). She was a little afraid of it when we first showed her but it only lasted a day or two and now at 7 weeks we can hardly stop her. Whenever we open the door of her cage and take her out, she flies straight towards her every time. So don't give up if…

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
