⏰ Actron CP7529 Digital Timing Light: A Versatile Tool with Advance, Tachometer, Flashlight, and LED Display in Gray Review

Easy to use, accurate and useful. Have used it half a dozen times now and it works as it should every time. The displays are clear and bright. Strobe is fine. I used it in my garage in the middle of the day and it seemed a bit dark. Nevertheless it works fine. I haven't dropped it yet, so I can't comment on the durability of the plastic.

Works well at first, the light is bright too. I thought it was very good synchronization and tachometer. Unfortunately, it soon starts to misread as the RPM jumps up and then back on the dial. I can't believe the statement is true. My friend bought it from an auto parts store, paid more, unfortunately it does the same thing even after a few uses. Both devices were only used 3-4 times each, the cables are correctly connected. on etc.

Bought this timer based on reviews. I connected the light and everything worked fine for the first 2 minutes. Then the revs started to jump everywhere. Then the LED started blinking and the device died. I hooked up my old light to make sure there was no problem with my electrical system and it worked great. I understand that manufacturers will have quality control issues no matter how hard they try. But I don't want to risk another bad block. I will be a different light and try.

was the best price I could find for it. Cheaper than most stock Autozone timing lamps. price matters. Quality matters. I've used it on several rev-adjustable bikes and some classic Harleys. The only complaint I have about it is mostly out of curiosity, I tried using it on my XR650 to set the RPM but it wouldn't take off (due to the shielded spark plug wire I think). the first one I bought didn't work right out of the box. sent it back and they sent me a new one, great, just a bad coincidence. The second used a motor for timekeeping, put it in a box at home and served for a year. Take it out to use again and it works fine at first, then the display starts flickering and the RPM gauge comes and goes.
