I had an issue with the clip that holds the plunger to the handle. The clip broke, and subsequent "electronic clips" continued to break as well. Finally I cut a rolled steel pin and sanded one side to make it flat. Electronic clamps withstood less stress from pumping movements and lasted much longer. You also need to make sure you take the pump apart and clean the inside of the keg regularly. You can also replace the inner plug gasket with a 3/4 inch ID hose washer. I am using this pump as a…

Built to fail! DO NOT BUY. The design is fundamentally flawed: when you squeeze the handle and the piston retracts, ALL the force goes to one thing - a tiny, weak rivet that attaches the piston rod to the handle. I bought this pump to replace my plastic vacuum pump which was probably two decades old and eventually broke its handle. I figured the metal construction would make it a solid product. And it looks like he's doing fine now. Now I fixed it! There is a small clip on the top of the grip that attaches the grip to the stock. This clip popped up the second time I used it!
