What I thought was made in the USA turned out to be made in Taiwan. What I thought was high quality turned out to be inferior. Now it works fine but I had to change wheels and put a pillow on the hard uncomfortable seat.

Everything was as advertised but too wide for me to use in my study. easier to get up - so I needed a small stool to help me move when working with things on the floor or on low shelves. Overall the seat is one of the best I've used. However, there are a few things that I feel they missed that should have been considered during the research and development.
