Happy with some E-85 safety pumps

Bought primarily for their E-85 compatibility. Pleasantly surprised, they also EASILY outperform the Aeromotive 340 l/h pumps they replaced.

Pros
  • Heavy duty
Cons
  • Expensive

Was easy to install

Generic fuel pump, not vehicle specific. It was easy to install, but I wish I didn't have to splice wires (I just don't like spliced wires dipped in gasoline). Has been working great for 2 months now with no problems.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options

Fits like OE, big difference in scope of delivery.

Just what I need, easy to install and comes with everything I need. It mattered as I now use the STi Blues and needed the extra volume to support the new CFM difference. My Protuner recommended it to me and I was not disappointed.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Not trendy

2.5 years, still great

2.5 years and still great! I killed 3 non-E85 pumps before buying this one. You'll hear others say the stock pumps are fine, but listen to those who died on the e85. This $100 investment can save you thousands of dollars on engine repairs and overhauls.

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • operating speed

Use this if using Flex Fuel

Better to have peace of mind and have the right flex fuel fuel pump. I keep switching from 91oct to E85. This thing has a higher capacity than the Walbro pump and is E85 safe unlike the Walbro 255 which I haven't seen in certified E85 use. Only rumors that it's safe.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Some problems

My car is alive again!

my foreplay is working again! tried it with non-e85 and it stopped working after 2 months. not sure what's going on with it. Unless it's fucking corn. I understand the original 10% version should have been enough, but I got the e-85 flex fuel version and it's working so far, but time will tell. .

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Better value than Walbro (Hawkeye WRX 2007)

Slightly taller than OEM so fits very snugly to OEM rubber boot and filter tube with no cuts (curved metal frame visible). The fuel sock is tiny compared to the OEM, so it's reused instead. The OEM wiring harness is plug and play with no soldering/crimping required, although a spare connector is included. The car runs much happier - 2007 WRX (Prodrive 270 hp).

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Quality

Great EFI replacement for ethanol mixed gas

Used this pump on my old Pontiac with EFI. Throw in a couple of OEM pumps and the ethanol in the gas these days killed them. (I rarely use a car). This pump was almost a direct replacement for the OEM, only the wires needed to be spliced. Supplied with filter sock, braid, fastening material and a piece of hose. Lighted up immediately, good pressure (40 units) and now I don't have to worry about the ethanol destroying it. I'm happy with that.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Hard to tell
