The spot welder control module is developed for DIY or simple battery welder. It is mainly used for single battery or battery group nickel plated sheet welding. This module includes main board and display board, optional 40A bidirectional silicon control tectifier, does not include welding transformers, welding pen and other matching tools. Scope of use: 1. DIY or simple battery welder development welding; 2. Welding of a single battery or battery pack. With the grid voltage compensation function, the compensation output can be automatically adjusted according to the change of the power supply, and the electric voltage and compensation value of about 1 second can be displayed when triggered, so that the effective heat of welding is consistent with the welding parameters, and the solder joint is uniform. This is double pulse trigger.

Does what it says on the tin, well

I've welded about 300 spots so far and it's still working fine. It took a while to get the settings right and a big part of my problem was too much welding pressure. Once I calmed down a bit, it started working.

No instructions good for welders

I was looking for a spot welder and thought it would be good but never got it working. I tried customer service but they had no idea they told me to contact Mfg but they never got my email back so I gave 1 star

Worked great! As advertised, one only wishes the diagrams were clearer!

I built a single transformer spot welder and used it as a control board and after everything was hooked up it worked on the first try and after I made a case to hold it it looks great and has the Ability to have a key switch which is cool allowed me to use welding tools that are activated by the switch as long as they are connected to the barrel connection.

Couldn't cook at all.

So the damn thing comes without instructions. Sophisticated piece of bear electronics and no instructions other than a very very limited circuit that says on the product page. I have to tell you that the lack of instructions is probably one of the biggest and dumbest reasons for bad reviews, but these manufacturers or sellers just don't care because I still see so many without instructions. Okay, enough of this problem and then on to the next one. So I had a 1000E transformer I got from a UPS…
