We fitted this alternator to a 1978 Triumph Spitfire that we use in endurance racing. For the 24-hour race in June 2012 we needed more power for the auxiliary headlights. Needed a new bracket and longer strap to fit, but was easy enough with a few generic parts from the local auto parts store. A wire connection and it worked.
