Needs a better o-ring

The DEF cover is leakproof and can be covered with the OEM tether if the OEM is submerged in hot water. The GREEN diesel engine cover o-ring is a loose fit and can be replaced for a better/tighter seal and the magnet is weak. Try putting a blanket on the top of the bed if you don't want it falling to the floor. as another customer mentioned. but what the heck is only 9.99 to keep water from leaking through the fuel door seal and filling the fuel tank with H2O lol.

Billet Aluminum Caps for Diesel and DEF

Both covers work well and look good. However, the person who packed this item, despite having nothing to do with the product, felt the need to put some good sprays of their best refill perfumes in the mailer. I can still smell it in my house after a few hours. Billet aluminum caps: five stars Perfume rating: one star Bottom line, I would recommend the caps to a friend. I would not recommend perfume in a sachet to anyone, not even my ex-wife.

Replacement for OEM

Bought these for a new truck (2018) that I recently bought. Not too impressed with the milk jug-like plastic lid that came with the Eco Diesel tanker. So I did a little research and bought them. Fits perfectly, the price is reasonable, the quality is excellent. Like a magnet in a diesel cap that makes sure it doesn't fall off somewhere when you fill up. The DEF cover is solid, of high quality and easy to screw on. All in all a great upgrade from some pretty crappy OEM parts.
