This is a strong heavy duty cap. It won't break for anything. I think we all buy them as insurance against DEF in the diesel tank. Definitely protects against as well as water/sand penetration. They're expensive, especially compared to the previous model, but the only alternative I saw was cheap plastic, which I don't need.

I was surprised by the quality of this tank cap. At the time of writing this review it was more expensive ($46) but this cap is a solid piece of aluminum and fits really well; Also, it's one of the few that fits the 19-20+ model. I haven't tried the magnet function, but I didn't care. This is a great seal and I look forward to many years of use.

Had to hunt my plastic cap around our windy area. Stuck between the cabin and the box once, and luckily my wife's little hand was able to reach out. I had to hold it in my hand because I knew I would forget it. I'm looking for a solution and I find this aluminum cap that fits perfectly and can be placed on the fuel filler flap bracket with a magnet. It's well built and I think it will last a long time. Worth the price.

I have 2020 ram 2500. Ordered this gas cap. Seems very well made around the magnet for storage while the black gold is being pumped into the tank. The cap does not turn, it seems that it is unreliable. Sent back for a refund. The Genos Garage Lock Cover is now available to order for $20 more. To update. The company immediately contacted me to fix the landing issue. They were very receptive. good company I would recommend trying it. However, I replaced the gas cap with an icy Genos garage cap.

It remains a mystery why RAM does not supply a gas cap for its diesel trucks, if only to keep debris out of the fuel line. Regardless, this gas cap fits my 2021 Cummins RAM 2500 perfectly. It also has a strong magnet in the base that sticks well to the inner loop of the gas cap when refueling. As good as this product is I think the $50 price tag is a bit high which is why I didn't give it 5 stars but lack of competition, that's it if you want it.

I didn't know what to expect from this diesel fuel cap but I knew I didn't like that the fuel tank wasn't closed and was basically pointing up. It was expensive but I thought it could be good if it was of good quality. Anything that falls into the fuel filler flap will be thrown into the tank without a cap. This lid fits snugly and snaps into place. It has a rubber gasket to seal it. The magnetic attachment to the wing when filling is a nice feature. That will help me remember to install it and

I have a problem with these modern day diesel trucks that the choke is good enough. Maybe for the truck "Princess of the entrance", IDK. Not the roads we ride!
