I decided to spend an extra $40 for the low latency and cool black design. The grid points are poorly designed and take up the entire socket due to the ridiculous protrusion on the plug design. The box states that there are 270 DOFs that must have been left in the non-game design since these grid points are 0 DOF bricks with zero tolerance for their shape and spacing around the exit. The information clearly states that the grid points are rotated 270 degrees. Not true. There is no possibility of rotation. False information and advertising. It even says so on the packaging. Works great. No dead zones and stable coverage without rebooting the router every few days. The only thing that bothers is the data transfer speed. It's very stable, but the bitrate is much lower than other routers I have. Don't expect more than 150-200Mbps wirelessly. Speedtest direct from a device on my 400Mbps ISP rarely downloads more than 220Mbps. If I plug a laptop or other router directly into the same, I can easily get all 400+ Mbps. This is with the "Bandwidth or Games" settings.
