🔥 Enhance Welding Protection with ArcOne SS240 Super Singles 240 Auto-Darkening Filter - 2 x 4.25 x 0.25 Review

Ordered two in a row and both suck. I'm a pipe welder and it keeps flashing you. Worked for a day or two, then it keeps flashing.

I bought this a while ago because my instructor had it and recommended it. I love it. It is clear and very well structured. It fit nicely in my sugar spoon. I recommend it to others

It's darker than the first one I bought. And the first is constantly changing shades. It dims as it glows and then goes out and flashes while welding. I will never buy this product again.

The lens worked great for a few weeks but then it started to fail. My last ArcOne had the same issue but it lasted about a year. Me try to return it warranty if necessary

So far I'm happy with this lens. I've been looking for a new one for a long time after my cheap car blind broke. The only complaint I have is that the sensitivity setting is difficult to understand. It is also very transparent and has a beautiful blue-silver hue when welded. I have a Lincoln Electric welding hood with 4K lenses and the ss240 is almost identical to it.

2.5 weeks of use and the auto dim settings started to fail. The lens had a terrible lag when I hit the arc. Also the lens could get darker from sunlight so basically I did used a solid shadow. When it worked it was great. Auto dimming was excellent and I could see my puddle easily. Unfortunately it stopped working too soon. Also, I didn't drop the lens hood and didn't hit anything that would damage the lens could.

It took about 3 months before it started giving me bad arcing latency. I was working outside doing some structural work and when I put it in grind mode it started acting weird with a lot of lag over time. With a moment of welding it's really bad, it takes so long to pick up the arc, I replaced the transparent protective screen and made sure everything was clean and still not well tightened. I will definitely be returning this one.
