Unreally cool! Necessary!

it really worked! I saw this item in a YouTube video and looked for it in 3 stores. Ordered from Revain as a result. My car was warm for a few days after I changed the thermostat. After the funnel appeared I bled the cooling system and bam! It will stop heating! There are a number of different add-on parts that fit almost every car. It was easy to install on the car and easy to detach from the car. I recommend it to those who are doing it for the first time, to those who know what they are…

Like the concept. maybe a design flaw?

Love this idea, I actually spent so much money and got this one which was $10 more expensive than the base model I found. I am using this on a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer with a Spectra Premium radiator. The radiator cap that fits the GM leaks out from under the cap. I thought it might be the custom radiator so I tried it on my 2003 S10 pickup, same results. Very disappointing. This may be due to the weight of the water in the funnel, although I've tried filling it up a bit and still nothing.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Works well, saved me from spilling excess coolant.

This funnel is ideal for filling the radiator. Once I found the correct cap adapter, it didn't leak for three deflation and inflation cycles. The plug comes in handy when excess coolant remains in the funnel and you need to remove it without draining the excess coolant into the engine compartment. Some people have complained that the plug doesn't stay upright during use, but if you pull it up a bit it seems to stay up just fine. Much better than a regular funnel but a bit more expensive if you…

Makes the job very easy and clean!

I wish I had taken something like this a few years ago! I had to flush and fill the radiator on my '96 Toyota 4Runner. Since more than one heatsink fill is required, this small project was a good test of this nifty device. This filler kit made the job a lot easier and less messy. I was able to fill the cooler and easily control the excess amount I poured into the funnel by putting it back in the original bottle without wasting a drop. It's worth the money as I'm sure I'll be using it on…

This works, but requires some adjustments.

Don't get me wrong, it will work. However, when used on a sloped GM radiator, coolant constantly dripped out from under the cap. A leak turns into a gush when you try to fix the drip by wiggling on the faucet caps or adapters. pull out) and pull out the piston. It clicks a bit and is now "locked" in the open position. I also feel like this is a two person tool. You want to rev the engine to reach the temperature where the thermostat opens, but this can fill the hopper more than it was full and…

Better than Lisle 24680 for my car

I ended up buying this non-vented system when I recently replaced the original radiator in my '99 Lexus ES300. I also bought it because I had previously bought a Lisle 24680 anti-spill system and the covers that were designed for Toyota cars with that system didn't work for my car. The cap with the Lisle system didn't fit my neck properly, while this ARES system not only fit right but seemed really reliable in quality (love the black baseball cap handles). My only complaint about the ARES…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Generally good but...

I had an overhaul on my 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan with a coolant drain. I saw one of these in a YouTube video and was determined to get it. In the past I've spent hours releasing trapped air, watering, driving, opening a brew pressure fountain from a radiator cap, etc. To the uninitiated, this device is essentially a funnel with a piston valve and a whole series of caps and a funnel behind below. spouts. The caps replace the radiator cap and are only intended to be gripped and installed over the
