The valve stem for the R134a fitting was too low in the resulting faucet so the gauge hose I have can't reach it causing the valve to block flow. You may need to remove the core to make it work, or see if another hose has a longer tip so it can open the valve. I tried it on a nearly empty can and it blew out of the seal on the first click. Had to do a second click to get a better seal but it still showed a small leak which was detected by a sensitive electronic refrigerant tester. Everything…
