Great shelf! However, do not use the equipment provided.

The equipment provided is unnecessary. Use a kit that includes a METAL Anchor instead. I used what I got from the store at home, specifically Stud Solver #7 x 1-1/4 in. Alloy Pan Head Self Drilling Drywall Anchors with Screws (2pcs) from EZ Anchor. Don't try to just use the stand, it's too unstable and you don't want your Blu-rays to collapse. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS: First you will need another pair of hands. Have someone put it on the wall and use the knobs to mark the whole thing. Obviously it

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Some issues

Only get this if you know you're ready to tape it to the wall.

I bought this to put on a pedestal. I spent two hours trying unsuccessfully to connect the base to the rest of the device. Impossible. The parts that were supposed to connect the base to the shelf were lost due to welding work. Metal is too difficult to bend. I've been trying to do it in different ways for a long time. I didn't want to attach it to the panels in the common room. I didn't want to poke holes in the wood. But I finally did after spending over two hours trying to avoid it. Once…

Doesn't live up to expectations

I ordered a 65 DVD Tower and wall mounted it but had a lot of problems. If you don't hang it on the wall, don't buy it. It is extremely unstable and bends easily. After attaching it to the wall, it didn't sit flush with the wall. I had to twist it a bit. I used a level to position it and the block itself wasn't straight. If the top was flat, then the left side wasn't flat, but the right side was. Made cheap. Another issue is that the 65 DVD Tower is about 4 feet tall. There are only 4 mounting…

Not bad. but thin.

I had to return this tower. I just chose to deal with it. It's not bad. It does the job. I have about 3/5 filled with DVD, Blu-ray, PS3 and Xbox games. They all fit pretty well. Even films that have an extra cover fit in this baby. Cons: It's in two parts - that's not bad, let me get to that: those 2 parts don't stick together well. The division is in the middle of the tower. So let's say you have discs scattered around the tower and you're trying to slowly pick them up to move them. you will…

More secure than expected but may require some work

I originally bought a 65 rack ($29.99 at the time) with the intention of installing it. I actually bought three of these which I was hoping would fit in a space about 30 inches wide. However, a friend who understands these things better than I do told me that the mounting screws that come with each stand are too short to fit properly in the stud. So, all three of my racks are just standing on the carpet for now, their legs pressed against the wall. These racks can be quite difficult to assemble

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Operating speed

Ideal for wall mounting

I bought this stand to use as a multipurpose floor stand. This is supposed to store 360° and PS3 games as well as Blu-ray movies. The stand fits PS3 and 360 games very well. These cases are the same depth and look very nice on the stand. PS3 games don't fill the full width of the rack, but they don't slide left or right and stay in place very well, making for a nice full feel. However, Blu-ray movies don't fit well in this rack at all. There are noticeable gaps between each film, and at the…

Works fine, a bit unstable.

I have two versions of this tower. The smaller that holds 28 and the larger version that holds 65. I leaned the smaller version against my desk at an angle and it always worked great. I liked it very much. It works great for DVD/Bluray as well as my PS3 games (which are similar anyway). It also includes a couple of double sized slots on the bottom for special edition DVD/Bluray and more. The 65-slot tower comes in two pieces that snap together and then slot into a small footrest (unless you're…
