Works well so far

I bought these to quickly and securely attach my ladder and building materials to my truck's ladder post. I got tired of running the elastic cords under and around and over and over again to get the right tension and digging them into the back of the truck. I had to attach a special aluminum plate to mount the ratchet as the rack posts and cover itself didn't have enough room to mount. The studs are too short for my PWC trailers. Bolts are metric. The return spring is too weak.

I have three different PWC trailers (Triton, Seadoo and Yamaha) and the bolts are too short for all of them. The screws are listed as 1-5/8" and are. But if you use the included washer you only get a usable screw length of 1-1/2" because the washer is 1/8" thick . Seadoo trailer and Yamaha are 1-1/2" thick and my Triton trailer is 2" thick. To make matters worse the bolts are metric (8mm x 1.25) so none of my SAE Bolts fit with the nuts provided I have to fit my own bolts and nuts I paid extra…

Not good for motorcycle protection

I like the stainless steel design and finish. Might be good for securing a load that doesn't have suspension, but I don't know for sure as I haven't used it for that. I towed my motorcycle from Florida to New York. I bought two of these to secure the back of my bike. The handlebars were repaired with an existing set I had and I was planning on possibly upgrading to them, but I'm glad I didn't. Belt is better than most

Update (01/14/20) Well its been a little over a year since I use these 10 weight belts daily to keep my ladders on the rack , and I already have a pair of straps that need replacing due to cuts, but none of them show any signs of sun wear. All stainless steel cases have held up great and even the vinyl coated steel hooks are still in good condition.
