Works great. I attach him to his halter and take him out in the morning and take him to eat in the evening. He's had laminitis in the past, so you can't just throw him out to an all-you-can-eat herb buffet.

I bought this pasture muzzle because it is attached to the halter. I bought it to replace the same one I got last year. Unfortunately, the new one wears out even faster. The bottom has worn to the point where the hole is already about 25% larger than when new and I've only had it a month. Great product! Have a young 4 year old mare who loves to chew on leads, buckets, fences and everything else. (no writer, just likes to chew). She can free herself from any leash in less than a minute. Tried pepperoni and dish soap on the leash. No results. didn't seem to mind the pungent or soapy taste.
