After over 2 years my cheap mountain bike needed replacing 2 cables including a brake cable. I twisted the original adjustment bushing so I had to order a new crank. I installed a new one myself, that's saying something. Removing the handle was the worst part of the test! Nice original replacement grip for my bike.

These aluminum handlebars came in pairs, one right hand and one left hand. Good replacement for the cheap plastic levers that came with Walmart's Mongoose bike which broke after two months. Easy to install if you are a DIYer. There were NO instructions in the bag but there are plenty of bike repair videos on YouTube if needed. Time will tell, but they should last the life of a bike.

First, as there are several different models currently shown in the photos in the listing, I will tell you that the pair I received most closely resembled the photo, currently shown in the fifth photo - with a slit in the handle. The brakes feel well constructed and have a nice finish. The mechanism is smooth and has a much better feel than other brake levers of this type that I have.
