Need more information

There are absolutely no instructions on how to use it. It must be used to connect the thread. I'm getting the basics by looking at it, but I'm not able to get it perfect yet. I've practiced several times, but nothing tells me if I'm doing it right. Next thing I found are a couple of youtube videos for the etsy version, which didn't seem to get this either.

Handy little line!

I bought this arrow to join the shorter pieces of filament I had left over from a few spools to make enough to print. I was also hoping to use it in a way that if I ran out of a roll I could put it in a new roll so I wasn't wasting thread in vain. This light has a simple design and works well once you get the hang of it. You should make the ends of the thread as straight as possible when using this jig so the two ends stay aligned as they melt. It's easy to use, basically here's how it's done…
