Ordered three of these bulb detectors - all worked great

They worked as advertised for my three different 3D printers (Ender 3 Pro, Rostock Max V1 (modded) and AM-8 ( 8 each had various SKR boards retrofitted before wiring them up with X-Max end stops and Marlin 2.0XX minor tweaks and they do their job well, micro switch versions, optical versions.

They light up but don't work.

I updated the firmware, added a vscode beat sensor, changed all the required settings, connected it to my 4.2.7 board, it took the filament and caught fire. I just had high hopes that he would walk through and see the light go out and nothing else happened. The test print didn't stop and no matter what I do it just doesn't work. I'm convinced that those 5 star reviews I'm seeing were written by people who were probably paid to do so, like most reviews of printers and parts. Don't waste your…

Works well but wiring is confusing unlike my original sensor and no documentation

Be careful when installing this sensor. The V (voltage) and S (signal) pins are across from the impact sensor that I replaced. Since there is no information about this on the site, nor a pinout picture, I just used the same cable that was already installed on my printer. When I inserted the thread into the sensor and it worked, the light flashed briefly. and the printer restarted.
