🐦 Bird Kabob Mini Shreddable Parrot Toy - Pack of 3 Review

My ring neck can turn one of these kebabs to dust in a couple of hours. My parrots nibble occasionally, but not violently. My black-haired kennel doesn't care at all. However, this particular bird doesn't seem to show much interest in any of the dozens of toys that are offered to it. . .

I thought my Quaker would love it but he didn't show much interest. It's been 2 weeks, but unfortunately it's just hanging there. That's why I gave fewer stars. Having said that, I can say that this toy will definitely attract smaller birds like lovebirds, they will bite and vomit all day long. They definitely need something like this, but they will destroy it within a week!

I have previously purchased an enlarged single version of this toy which can be cut open and all 4 parrots will fight over who is chewing on it. In this case I figured I'd buy 3 packs to save on costs. I forgot that the description says MINI! This is half the size of a "regular" version. Just for your information. They still love it, but it's not the cost savings I was hoping for.

My sunshine Coco loves this toy. He likes anything that can break and make a big mess in the cage, so this is on his top 5 toys list. 1 kebab is enough for several days. I wish it lasted longer but my bird will keep pecking at it until it's gone. Because of the price and how quickly my bird grinds it, I don't buy this toy all the time, but my bird likes this toy best. If it were a little cheaper I would buy it more often.

Pros: All 3 of my birds love them. Con - they last about a day! At $17-18, it's too expensive to buy often. Would love to buy them in bulk or even better in large kebabs! Round diameter or something. I have two parrots that are champions but they are no more! My kennel could take two days, three peaks to destroy one. Great for fun, but at these prices it's FUN. lol That being said, if you want to offer your bird something different or take it easy for the day, this is a great way to do it.
