This really works well. I like the headphone jack as well. This replaces a Bose sound bar that was disappointing and lacked one. In some instances, I need headphones to watch TV with my wife.

I was very surprised it did everything it said. I would recommend this to anyone who has a problem hearing the dialogue. Spend the money you won’t regret it .

We got the AccuVoice AV203, and it's everything it says it is. It has been a years long battle in my house. I'm a bit hard of hearing and so while watching TV/movies, I have to have the volume up to hear what is said. My wife has severe hearing issues and wears a Cochlear device. I bought this speaker to connect to my tv to eliminate the background noise and enhance the voices on programs. It works as advertised. I am no techy and I had the speaker out of the box, hooked up and operating in less than a half hour. No complaints on anything with the unit.

We use a firestick often and I always had trouble hearing what they were saying and being blasted by the background music. This system equalizes them both and the clarity is unbelievable.

Fool proof to set! Plug in AC power, hook-up optical cable, put included batteries in remote, turn TV sound down and Bob's yer uncle!I can hear voices CLEARLY! In fact, voices are very clear and the Zvox unit fades away like you don't know it is there! Did I say voices are clear?

Amazing product. Performs as advertised. Easy as 1-2-3 to install. Sound is much better than the tiny speakers in my tv. I live in a condo and no longer worry about the neighbors hearing anything. Clear voices and nice bass sound.

Had a couple of little issues setting the speaker that were easily corrected with assistance from customer service. They were very quick to respond and guided me through the steps to correct the issues. Is a very good speaker that definitely clarifies people talking. Highly recommend for this reason.

I purchased this item for a different television but I am missing the RCA cable and can't get any help as there are no more of this speaker.but if necessary I will sed it back

Dialogue is easier to understand, as I have lost some upper range hearing. However, the remote often has difficulty communicating with the sound bar. This is particularly true when I switch from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2 programming. I often have to click it 8-10 times to get it to respond. Changing batteries did not help. Occasionally, clicking the lower volume arrow actually increases the sound! I have had to jump up and manually lower it on the bar itself. I have thought about returning this bar, but

Had an AV203 previously which recently died. Bought another as we need it to lessen background sounds on the TV. Old one worked great with remote for DirecTV but new one would not pair after repeated attempts.Very disappointed that I have to use ZVOX remote to adjust volume levels.

The AV 203 offered multiple options for sound clarity for about one year. Sound quality did improve human speech clarity. Then it simply would not power up. Voltage tested power input. The unit just suddenly stopped turning on. 3 months after warranty. DEAD. money waisted. Look for a better brand. One year service is unacceptable. I still have my stereo amp from the 1970s working great!

This helps on regular channels OTA (over the air) with TiVo. On nights we watch CBS the sound gravitates between muffles and loud voices and is very annoying. I called the company and they had me restart the speaker to reset the box but it continues to be a problem on that station. Whatever they use to make the experience greater on the channel screws with whatever Zvox used to make theirs better resulting in terrible sounding commentary. We liked the sound from this bar on most stations however it was nuisance to turn on on and set volume, My wife has limited eyesight so it was hard for her to control. We sent it back but it did help clarify the sound.
