Goes well with good sound

I'm not an audiophile but I love the sound I get from this bluetooth board and *really* appreciate that I can plug 24 volts into it. The audio jack pins connect to the input pins on an unnamed TPA3116 amplifier board. Very easy connection and definitely recommended!

Could do with higher output power

Purchased to port a Garmin GPS (which only outputs via Bluetooth) and media player to our 2006 GoldWing GL1800. Worked pretty well. We now have a 21 Spyder RT Limited and need to do the same. The output level could have been higher as it barely drives the Spyder's aux input. You have to run the Spyder levels at 80%, which pushes him to the brink of distortion. Otherwise, it connects easily and quietly and seems to hold a connection very well. Just need more output levels. If there was another…

Easy to use, good sound

I hooked it up to a $10 TPA3116D2 amp I found on ebay and it sounds great. I had some noise issues when powering this and the amp from the same power supply. Switching to 5V USB and a separate USB power supply instead of the 12V powering the amp solved this problem. I've noticed that connecting to BT can be a bit finicky. I also wish you could change the name of the BT connection. I made my own Bluetooth device using an ESP32 and an external DAC and couldn't solve the noise issues, but this…

Works great with my system M&S DMC1 Music/Intercom

I have an intercom system with a speaker and a communication device in every room. Ceiling speakers are also installed throughout the home. When music is played, it plays on all speakers, including communication devices in bathrooms and bedrooms. I have an "Aux" option on the main unit, but I see that requires a separate $800 power strip with a CD player, iPod dock (legacy), and external inputs. The drywall will also need to be cut as it will double the size of the main head unit. I found some…

Slight background noise at low volume

Bought for 2 reasons:1. to avoid using other Bluetooth boards that require the use of a buck converter to reduce the voltage2. to eliminate the slight, high-pitched hum that comes with other Bluetooth boards I've used. Although this board operates over a wider range of input voltages, it cannot eliminate the high-pitched hum heard at very low volumes. I tried matching the gain on all the board's amplifiers I tested it on to make sure all grounds were connected and used a shielded cable to carry

Great compact bluetooth module, very versatile for DIY projects.

Short and simple: Small, runs on almost every common DC voltage (5-35 V), great sound quality, low power consumption, fast and smooth connection. It's great for almost any Bluetooth DIY project, well worth buying. Long story: I used it on a project I just finished, a late 1980's Panasonic RX-FM16 boombox. Instead of the D elements, the ghetto blaster is now powered by an Anker USB rechargeable battery via a 9V USB adapter. I also connected the module to the 9V line and put it on a switch so…

Nice little home theater module

I bought the module to fit my old BOSE Acoustimass system. Cable to the preamp input and connected the device. Set the tone controls to neutral and the volume to about 3/4. When the system is turned on, the Bluetooth device automatically enters pairing mode, making it easy to pair the device with almost anything. When it connects I hear a notification sound through the device and then I'm good to go. The reason for disabling 1 star is because the device is not receiving music or audio. You may…

Bluetooth chip works at 3.3V

Update July 2020 If you have compared the reviews on this product and you were confused, it is because the seller Drok the product, the photo, the specifications and everything changed while keeping the old product ID. The old product had no relay and no auxiliary input. The new one has. This Bluetooth board has significant DC offset and drift. So when you switch the relay (when a Bluetooth connection is established) there is a loud bang. This is not good. Also, there is no way to adjust the…
