Depending on the amount of water used, the PEBO can brew delicious coffee within 5 to 11 minutes, serving anywhere from 4 to 8 cups (0.5l/10oz,max. 1.0l/34oz). Type of review

I've had about 6 of these coffee makers over the years and they were all great until the last one came along. It has a deformed top so that the grist passes through the filter. Don't worry, is it under guarantee? Not correct. I contacted Bodum in early December 2020, sent them proof of purchase and photos of the defective part as requested. Since then nothing - almost 2 months of excuses. They take a week to reply and the reply is always an excuse. The shameful collapse of a once great company.

Bodum Pebo Vacuum 8 cup coffee maker makes great coffee

This is the first coffee maker of this type that I have owned. I've had drip coffee makers in the past, the latest being the Cuisinart which has an internal carafe and a lever to pour coffee directly into the coffee cup. Let me tell you that I had no idea what my coffee actually tasted like until I used this Bodum Pebo vacuum coffee maker. I was skeptical of what I read and said the coffee would taste better. Let me tell you that my skepticism has vanished. Coffee really does taste better. Now…

Great cup of coffee but with some caveats (revised)

Edited to add: Just got a reply from Bodum. They asked me to send them a photo of the broken mug and proof of purchase, which I did. They said the glass is not under warranty. It's strange because there's almost nothing there but glass! Revain doesn't have a replacement lens so I went to the Bodum website. You are not available. Retail price is $50.00. I am extremely disappointed. I've used it probably ten times and treated it with the same care as my expensive and fragile martini glasses. It…

Great pot - read the full review when in doubt!

Although I'm not a coffee connoisseur, I've spent a lot of time figuring out how to make this "perfect" mug. For me that is everything. I also bought a Hario cloth siphon filter to replace the plastic filter that came with it (both because I don't use plastic for cooking etc. and because the cloth filter allows absolutely no "dirt" on the bottom of the cup). ).Some Notes! Some people complain that if they follow the directions, the coffee gets weaker. However. Most people don't realize that when

If you know what you're getting yourself into, that's amazing

I really like my Bodum Pebo vacuum coffee maker. Admittedly, my initial interest was the look and pure curiosity about coffee. I mostly drink espresso and espresso-based drinks, but about once a week I happily pull out my Pebo...even more so than my Chemex/Hario/Osaka or French Press. The cups of coffee I get are clean and flavorful. I make sure to use good quality coffee (I roast my own to keep it fresh and grind the beans until the water reaches the top chamber) and filtered water as I live…
