As well as the size (Photo #1) You can immediately see the difference, but not so much if you only have one or the other. After getting the correct seal (and measuring 3 times), I decided to clamp a vise on one side use to hold up the door (photo #2) and then on the…

Did you think you had done your homework for this project... ...?

Well, think again! I spent a lot of time looking for a solution how to seal a garage door. I wanted to maximize the cooling effect of an air conditioner that I personally installed in one of the walls of my garage. Originally I wanted to buy a metal chain with a new rubber seal. First of all - even after cleaning the chains with a wire brush and lubricating the rubber and chains - the rubber grommet doesn't move more than about 2 feet before resistance becomes too great. (My particular door is small - 8ft, opening in my barn). So I did what I was afraid to do. I unhooked the springs, removed the bottom of the gate and its rollers, took the whole thing into the garage…

  • Easy installation and replacement of existing and old floor seals. This black garage door seal requires no screws or nails to install and comes with 2 rubber plugs
Cons
  • Vulgarity
