Maybe you'll have better luck with this. At first I really liked these. It was comfortable in my hands, the yarn glided very well on the knitting needles. In total I used it for about a month. I can no longer use them because the needle does not screw tightly to the cord. I used a wrench to tighten them and no matter how many times I did it, the cord loosened or came loose. I switched to cheap bamboo needles with plastic cords and haven't had any problems since.

This is a good size to slip into a purse or yarn bag and the basic 7-8-9-10 needle set works well for most patterns. The set is a very smaller version of the Boye Needle Master set with much more detail (and needle sizes), but this set is suitable for both novice and experienced knitters alike. It's great for making scarves or hats, but not for larger projects like sweaters or throws. So don't complain if it doesn't have enough stitches as it wasn't made for large projects, it's a handy size…

This purchase was made to replace the needle and cord from my original set which I broke by accidentally sitting on it and the needle and needle shaft went into the cord broke. I have since bought a better set but for example for knitting smaller circles like hats on 16" needles instead of selling a set with shorter needles otherwise I would have to buy a whole different set of accessories I don't need.
