would send it back if i found the keys didn't go smoothly in the lock you have to rock them back and forth up and down to get them far enough around the lock to turn, but I already installed them before trying the keys. They seem cheap, but other than the main issue, they're pretty durable

Started with a 4 star rating, changed to 1 star after 6 months. Worked great for 6 months. One latch was sticky today so I took the handle apart and the inner latches bent and fell apart when I removed the handles. Notice the two parts on the right side of the picture. Hopefully support will send me a new bolt.

I bought this kit on 08/06/2018 and installed it the same month. The lock on the door handle stopped working after 6 months. The same pin failed completely on 05/08/2020. My family was locked in while I opened the front door. Don't buy if you have children. My 7 year old tried to squeeze the handle while it was only partially locked and I believe this broke the mechanism.

I bought these for my apartment that I rent out. They seem lightweight, but I change them after every renter so they don't last long. They fit into existing holes. (I've had a few where I had to widen existing holes.) Be sure to follow the directions. The first time I installed the latch, I installed it upside down and it didn't work with the key. The door handle screws are a little shorter than other handles I've installed, but this made them easier to line up.

I liked the look of this set, the shape of the handles and the action of the latch was perfect. but the keys only worked on one of the bolts and none of the others. I called warranty service and they sent me a new set but it took almost 2 weeks. When I change locks I don't wait 2 weeks to do it. So I ended up sending this set back. It looks like Brinks has an issue getting the keys to work with all the locks in the set as my review isn't the only one to mention this.

Husband lost his keys and because we didn't know where we bought them. After reading reviews that the keys didn't always fit properly, we tried all the keys in all the locks before installing them and they all worked perfectly. The entire installation, including removing the old locks and replacing them with new locks, took 20 minutes per door. They fit perfectly, look good, are functional and seem durable. We have installed locks with and without keys of different brands. None of them can match the quality of this lock. We had just moved. I ordered these because they were exactly what we needed for the new location and we saw them in store. They arrived while packing for the move and the box was full of other items. I received and installed 2 sets of locks on two doors in less than 2 hours. The locks look exactly as shown in the description. All four items were well packaged and had no visual defects.
