    Great alternative to Kayano gel.

I've been wearing the Asics Gel-Kayano for years now - literally 30+ pairs as I train a lot. I have slightly flat feet and a slight pronation. Unfortunately, the last few pairs of Kayanos gel shoes were nagging at my feet and I had to tape them off in a few places to avoid blisters. The final straw was a manufacturing defect that caused the heel collar to collapse and rendered them unusable for several weeks after purchase. (Known issue, according to our local Asics store.) So I finally had the

    Pros
    • Excellent heel support
    Cons
    • No color options available

Another great Brooks shoe with motion control.

As an elderly person who will never walk again but aspires to walk more than 60 minutes a day, I need a shoe that gives me control, cushioning and enough support for my deep arches. The Brooks GTS options handle this well, and for me glycerin is the best of all. However, when I buy Brooks shoes I always end up buying a half size larger than usual compared to other brands of shoes I buy. In this case, my usual size was quite long, but the slightly narrow toe box squeezed the sides of the…

    Pros
    • I find it best to buy multiple pairs and switch between them to avoid over-wearing.
    Cons
    • The toe box is smaller than previous models. I've always worn Brooks and never had this problem. I can't wear them.

The most comfortable shoes I've ever had.

I really like these shoes. These are my specialty shoes that I keep in a safe place so they are in great condition and look and feel great. When I put them on I feel like running, but I usually use them for other activities. I usually have a lot of pain in my feet and back and this shoe helps a lot with both and sometimes even eliminates them completely. Highest recommendation from me for these shoes!

    Pros
    • I took them out of the box and put them to work. Feel like you're on a cloud and your feet won't hurt after a 9.5 hour shift.
    Cons
    • Not bad but...

    Broken leg from healing blow

I've worn Brooks shoes for 15 years. I love her. I recently decided to try them based on the great reviews and my previous experience with Brooks. Of course, there is no way to say for sure, but I believe the design of the problems increased my risk of twisting my ankle, which eventually led to my breaking my foot in October 2022. The outsole is designed to facilitate a healing hit to the outside of the heel (see image). Combine this heel design with the softness of the new Brooks shoes and it…

    Pros
    • Good fit, good hold.
    Cons
    • Not suitable for high impact activities

    Great sneakers for overweight guys.

I'm about 30 pounds overweight and I've googled "best running shoes for overweight men" and they often end up at the top of most lists. I bought it and I can say I'm happy with it so far. They are very firm but offer excellent cushioning. My only slightly negative observation is that the size is a bit too small. Usually size 11 is a bit big for me but these are a bit tight.

    Pros
    • Using running I don't know yet, but trying it out for a fit seems right and good
    Cons
    • My legs hurt all the time

The best running shoes! the best in my rating

I love Brooks Glycerin 19 GTS. These are great shoes for walking and running. It is very comfortable, true to size and has good cushioning. Stabilization works great if you are a pronator or supinator (do not walk/run with feet pointing straight). This is the BEST running show I've ever used! If you haven't tried it yet, I encourage you to do so. It changed my idea of walking/running!

    Pros
    • Good product. Graces
    Cons
    • These shoes have always made me feel like I'm leaning to the right. Afraid I would stumble to make them come back

    Great shoes, but...: my review

I loved all the other reviews of this shoe and thought I'd try replacing the worn out ASICS. When I received it, I immediately noticed that the sock is narrower than ASICS and doesn't fit me.

    Pros
    • It's like walking on clouds..
    Cons
    • Too much heel lift

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Amazing cushioning with good support

This is my 3D pair of Glycerin's 2D with improved support. I walk 6-8 miles 5 days a week, weigh about 195 pounds and maintain a 16 minute pace. These shoes offer the right blend of softness, flexibility and support on the hard surfaces I typically find myself on. I like the full tongue of the shoe which makes it easy to put on and take off. In the photo you can see my old Glycerin GTS 19 shoes after about 700 miles of running mostly on concrete or paved surfaces for 6 months. When I looked at…

    Pros
    • Used for walking and general activities. The comfort and quality of a famous creek.
    Cons
    • The sole is too hard

Not bad for a sneaker, but the Brooks Ghosts suit me better.

While highly acclaimed, Brooks Glycerin hasn't worked for me as well as the similar Brooks Ghost line I've used for the past 10 years. They seemed to have a little less pillows. Durability seems good, maybe a little better than Ghosts.

    Pros
    • The shoes work exactly as expected. Comfortable and sits well.
    Cons
    • Not suitable for people with wide feet

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Never disappointed!

My annual or every 2 years purchase. Extremely comfortable, supportive and comfortable for running and working out. Visit their website for the perfect shoe and come here for a bargain price.

    Pros
    • The best running shoes I've had in years. Great for hiking.
    Cons
    • Not suitable for people with bones

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very convenient. Walk with a hopping step.

Very happy with this purchase despite being slightly larger than other options. Let's look at durability, but they're a lot more comfortable than my last pair.

    Pros
    • Daily use plus daily 2 mile walk.
    Cons
    • Not suitable for people with flat feet

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

    Good pillow in my review.

Shoes are well padded. I walk, not run in them. There is an orthopedic bump in the middle of my toes (bottom) that is irritating my foot after 8 miles.

    Pros
    • Bach is the best! This is my 4th pair in 5 years!
    Cons
    • Not suitable for people with Achilles tendonitis

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good walking shoes - my new review

These shoes fit well and are probably the best walking shoes I have ever owned. But it's not the prettiest shoe. Very easy IMHO.

    Pros
    • It's nice to buy last generation shoes at a great price.
    Cons
    • Lack of durability

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    husband loves these

My husband's feet are inwardly pronated and he needs a wide toe box. He usually uses New Balance, but he's tried these as well. I think he likes these better. I'm curious how they hold up. He uses them 90% for his workouts at the gym (treadmill and rowing machine).

    Pros
    • Great fit! Very comfortable and supportive. Great for running
    Cons
    • Finger box is too narrow

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best supportive shoe for active trail and trail running.

I am an active trail runner and this Brooks series was the best. I've run 4 full marathons, countless half marathons and 3 ultramarathons of 60km in this pair. I retire after 710 km. As you can see from the photos it has held up well. Now I'm buying a new one and I highly recommend it, especially if your foot has a high arch, it supports very well.

    Pros
    • I'm 60 years old and I can't imagine running in any other shoe.
    Cons
    • Creates uncomfortable pressure points

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best sneakers you can get

I will always buy this brand from now on. The pillow fits, the knees no longer hurt when walking. The only downside is that your feet will hurt the first 3-5 times you walk until your feet get used to it, but that is NORMAL. Then you will love them. They will last forever

    Pros
    • This shoe fit perfectly. I swapped out the insole based on personal preference.
    Cons
    • not breathable enough

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very comfortable best in my rating

I have worn other Brooks shoes, they are comfortable and have a neutral fit. I have special inserts and this shoe is perfect. Wear is about average. So if someone wears them all the time and runs or exercises, the shoes will probably need to be replaced after 6 months.

    Pros
    • Exactly as I had hoped and expected. Very convenient and ready to wear.
    Cons
    • Too narrow for some feet

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good, but not as good as Adrenaline GTS

I love Brooks shoes, especially the Adrenaline GTS line. I've tried Glycerin and they're comfortable, they're still Brooks but they feel a little less soft than Adrenaline. Next time I will probably go to Adrenaline again.

    Pros
    • They are so comfortable and perfect for running.
    Cons
    • Not stylish enough

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Great padding and support

I was looking for shoes with extra support and I am satisfied with this product. I have owned many pairs of Brooks shoes and have been very happy with the quality and comfort over the years.

    Pros
    • Great
    Cons
    • Not suitable for rain

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great shoes. Will buy Brooks again

Wear them every day at work in the hospital. My feet certainly don't get tired after being on my feet all day, so great cushioning. The support is probably better than I think. Good heel hold and stability, which I find rather weak in the forefoot. Nevertheless 5 stars.

    Pros
    • comfort
    Cons
    • Not suitable for people with weak ankles
