I bought these to use on an antique chest to make it taller for a bedside table. I painted the legs with quick drying oak wood stain to match the wood of the trunk. At first I was a bit worried because the metal plates that came with it that attach the legs were wider than the wooden edges on the trunk where the legs should go.
