I've only used the switch for about a week but it's great for situations where you need an extra port but only have one. I troubleshoot client networks and most of the time they don't have a free port or power source nearby so you don't need an external power source if you have a USB port. Please note that the USB adapter is a special proprietary connector. So if you lose him, you're out of luck. There is also no external power supply as with wall mounting.

In the end, unlike some other reviewers, I'm very happy that the device is metal and not plastic. It just works. That's all I can really say about it.
