I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

I bought it when it cost something around 12,000, then for another 550 canon. He performed his tasks of shooting aviation equipment perfectly, for this money it was impossible to dream of more. Now I’m shooting with it on the second nickel and the second one - quite decent quality, of course, considering the price category, it still copes with its tasks, I’m satisfied with it.

Pros
  • Price-quality ratio Sharpness up to 200mm indestructibility
Cons
  • Huge retractable trunk - ladies are shy

A good product at a good price, I advise you to try it.

Quite a good budget TV with a stub. Good secondary lens. There are no analogues and alternatives at the same price. For those who use a telephoto as the main lens, it is better to take something better, of course, but also at a price accordingly. Itself fluctuated between 70-200 L and 70-300. The choice was made in favor of 70-300, because it has a stabilizer and, although it does not look so cool, it is more convenient.

Pros
  • Image stabilization. Pretty normal picture.
Cons
  • Dark, no marks showing focusing distance. After 200-250 it starts to soap terribly. In general, I don’t know what to do with it and how to remake the limiter, but I recommend not to set the zoom above 250 mm in any case - it lathers, at least crack, at least close the aperture, it’s still less, but it lathers. They could have done 70-250, but it would have been normal for all FRs.

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

I've been using it for over 2 years now. He took over 20,000 photographs. I am satisfied with the quality, the photos are quite interesting, the noise is within the normal range. The only thing, but - the hood should always be worn, which greatly increases the overall length. The stabilizer eats the battery, but with additional. With a pen (battery), the problem disappears, but putting it on the table is already a problem, you have to put it with the display down. For 2 years, dust (a couple…

Pros
  • - Price quality - Stabilizer - 58mm filters (same as 50f/1.4) - fairly high linearization - blocker "falling out" when carrying - relatively light
Cons
  • - Play front - drop in quality at the long end (200-300) - dust slips at 300mm (zoom) - slightly "fades" the pictures - darkish - the front optics rotates when zooming, which complicates the work with polarizing (and other circulating) filters - no focus correction in auto focus mode (example as in sigma)

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

I use with a Canon 1100D camera. Sharp, fast focus. Compared to the Canon 18-55 IS II, more detail and sharpness across the field. A good stabilizer, when checking in the store, I shot it at 1/50 300mm. opposite wall. The photo is quite sharp. At 70 mm I shoot portraits, beautiful bokeh. Good macro. Does not chromate even at an open aperture. I especially recommend it to beginner photographers shooting on the machine. The stabilizer allows you to shoot at almost any combination of shutter speed

Pros
  • Photo quality, focusing speed, detail, stabilizer.
Cons
  • In cloudy weather, it lathers a little after 200mm. The zoom ring rotates counterclockwise - inconvenient.

I like it, thank you for the quality product.

In general, the lens pleasantly surprised me with its picture up to the indicated 200mm, everything further is full or partial soap. Everyone who complains about weight - well, what else did you want from a TV set, take the L or DO model and you will be happy. The stabilizer works well, but after 180 it works with a delay and every other time. The retractable trunk will fully collect all the dust that it finds around - do not forget to clean it. Conclusion: If you want to understand what a…

Pros
  • Colors, picture clarity up to 200mm, stabilizer, ultrasonic. Two stabilization modes. The zoom lock will prevent the trunk from accidentally moving out while being carried. Very beautiful landscapes can catch, and including portraits from afar.
Cons
  • Soap after 200mm, poor image quality at dusk and at night (even with a tripod). Trunk - dust collection. The lens drains the battery well.

Good quality product, the price is commensurate with the quality.

Good glass is far from entry-level, let's say semi-professional, for a very good price. I use on crop, respectively, the FR is no longer 70-300, but 112-480, which is only better for me, as I am fond of shooting aircraft. The lens is also good as a portrait lens, good bokeh and no face distortion. If you are looking for a decent zoom, then I advise this glass. I got it for 14990.

Pros
  • Price, stub and focal length.
Cons
  • Haven't found it yet.

Excellent product, the best quality.

I read reviews about the lens. The people write that they lather, autofocus does not hit. Disagree. Perhaps the authors should align the lens and set it to "0" (which I did, for example). With its help, at many focal lengths (including 300mm) I got very sharp pictures and was very pleased. Here are some examples: http://cs608818. Vk. Me/v608818039/11cfd/AHmEg3dIBjQ. Jpg http://cs540107. Vk. Me/c617820/v617820229/16420/wN-5bvWHPP4. Jpg http://cs617821. Vk. Me/v617821039/13548/ncN1TnBLXso. Jpg

Pros
  • Price, stabilizer, sharpness.
Cons
  • Noisy autofocus, focusing speed. In dark rooms (quite dark) it can be unsteady to focus. Sometimes it dulls by 300mm (although I did not notice such problems in the tracking focus during sports shooting).

Not my best purchase, you could have found something else.

I took it to replace the whale 55-250, I saved it with its versatility when traveling (at that time it was 60d - an excellent bunch, on the current mark3 with this on board it's a little ashamed, so I sold it). Street photo of an acceptable level. For portraits and scenes, there is nothing better than fixes, shooting portraits with this lens, you are unlikely to be satisfied with the result obtained in the end. Animals, birds to shoot - it's the most. It makes no sense to zoom further than 250,

Pros
  • Good universal telephoto focal lengths. Fast focusing, ultrasonic does its job, but with a small flu, of course. In dark and dimly lit rooms or in the evening, the focus begins to dull a little, not critical, given the stub, the shutter speed increases to half a second and everything is normal in general. Double stabilizer is a definite plus for this glass, without it it would be game Very good things are drawn by this daring fellow with sufficient practice and shooting skills on such fr
Cons
  • at the glass for a speck? They are not, and not the segment at all to pull out. If you want a more serious toy - white elks to help, there you can complain and be dissatisfied, for such a sum. The only thing is, check the lens on your camera for backs and fronts, many on the forums complained that some of the glasses out of the box had a shot down af, this is important to consider so that later there is no trouble with delivering it to the service.

I like it, thanks for the quality product.

Firstly, there are no complaints about the quality of the picture in the range of 70-200 - the colors are juicy, contrasting, the sharpness is decent, BUT ONLY WITH A BLEND! Without it, it is better not to use the lens - there is a high probability of catching hares, or flare - this will have a great effect on the picture. A stabilizer on telephotos is a really necessary thing, without it you can buy a lens only if you really know what it is and have experience with telephotos. Indoors, if you

Pros
  • Cutting Gives a good picture and colors The stabilizer does its job
Cons
  • In the range of 200-300 - lathers Inconvenient switching to manual focus (although rarely necessary) Rotating front lens (which pops out noticeably) Slow and not always sure focus

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Do not hesitate to buy, the quality is amazing for the price.

Excellent value for money. There are simply no competitors in this price category with such capabilities and characteristics. But it must be handled with care, because it is fragile. A good lens for an amateur who has not matured to overpay for L-ki, but wants to expand his capabilities in reportage or outdoor shooting. But the pros can also come in handy when it is difficult to take large-sized optics with you for reporting or you need to shoot without attracting much attention to yourself…

Pros
  • Its most important advantages are the price (almost every amateur photographer who has grown up to a SLR can afford it). As well as weight and compactness - if you have enough spacious pockets in your jacket, then you can easily put it there as a changer, if you suddenly need to make a small exit without a wardrobe trunk. Further advantages are not so obvious, but nonetheless. The design is quite comfortable and well made, despite the fact that everything is made of plastic. The stub works well. It gives a picture at short focal lengths (somewhere up to 150+ mm) that is quite sharp, but harsh, so it will not work as a portrait lens. It has a very pleasant, non-irritating bokeh.
Cons
  • The main drawback is, perhaps, a vacuum cleaner. Due to the strongly retractable front part, it works like a pump and, with sharp zoom turns, sucks in the dust, which eventually ends up in the camera on the matrix. Therefore, the zoom twist sharply and unnecessarily is not worth it. Another disadvantage is the swivel front lens, which makes it difficult to use some types of filters, such as polarizing ones. "Soaps" at a focus of more than 200 mm. So if you are interested in these focal lengths, it makes sense to look at other options that are more expensive. It also gives a vignetting effect at high focus, darkening the image in the corners. But sometimes, depending on the plot, it happens even to the topic. Apparently not a very strong construction inside, especially the stub - most likely afraid of any falls and bumps. About six months after the purchase, I had to take it to the warranty service due to the fact that the stabilizer lens had come off or peeled off, although I handled it quite carefully. But a year and a half after the repair, everything is working properly.

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

Actually, I bought this glass because of the focal length. The picture quality is quite satisfactory. With "straight" hands, you can perfectly shoot in poor lighting conditions and even at night. Before buying the CANON EF 70-200 mm f/2.8 L IS II USM, I thought about selling it, but then I realized that they rather complement each other. Sometimes I shoot two at the same time, while 70-300 is on the crop (equivalent focal length 112-480mm), and 70-200 is on the FF, respectively - I cover a very

Pros
  • The price for such focal lengths is very interesting. Pretty sharp glass, the stabilizer is fundamentally not much inferior to 70-200L 2.8 IS II. Very light compared to the same 70-200L 2.8 IS II. The presence of a latch trunk. Focal lengths are working on the entire range.
Cons
  • Most of all, I don’t like the rotating and retractable front lens when focusing: it’s almost impossible to shoot with a polarizer. The trunk extends under its own weight, if the latch is not latched. The design itself creates a feeling of fragility, especially in comparison with the L series. A potential vacuum cleaner, so I use it very carefully. No hood included.

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

Justifies its price by 150%. Worth the money, even when they sold for 18,000-20,000. Now it’s really possible to find a new one for 13,000. (secondhand and even cheaper). As a feature, it is worth noting the dimensions: in the 300 mm position it becomes indecently long. The girls, out of habit, somehow mysteriously squint when it extends. The store compared with 55-250. At 70-300, the picture is nicer, as is the design, but to get acquainted with the range, it’s better to take 55-250 anyway -

Pros
  • - Workmanship, strength and reliability (I fell and survived everything, escaping with a scratch on the case. It did not affect the optics in any way - Powerful 2-mode stabilizer (regular and for shooting in wiring) - Working range - Excellent sharpness in the range of 70-200mm, sharpness acceptable for amateur photography in the range of 200-300mm - Up to 200 mm, a very pleasant, juicy picture - Smooth pleasant movement of the zoom ring. If you take after amateur glasses of the initial price category, you can feel the real THING in your hands - Fast and accurate focusing - EF mount - Small and cheap 58mm filters
Cons
  • - Energy-intensive stabilizer. In Live View and video mode, the battery is eating at a terrible pace. The rest is rather features that you need to be aware of: the front lens rotates when focusing, the trunk extends to a decent length and can drag dust inside, the stabilizer is noisy for video shooting, in the 300 mm position the sharpness is only for publishing on the Internet and printing 10x15. As many have already said, if the lens is not focused at infinity, then in order to roll up the exit pipe, you must first switch to manual mode and tighten the ring. On autofocus, the focus ring cannot be turned by hand.

It is of good quality, but I won't buy it again.

I bought this subject for work, because sometimes I have to shoot planes, cars, etc., plus portraits. When shooting people, there are no complaints about it, everything is sharp and beautiful, but only up to 200mm, but this is tolerable. But when shooting airplanes and other things, autofocus starts to get wildly stupid, and for several seconds it cannot focus, which is why the moment is missed. If you do not mind the money, take 70-200 L

Pros
  • Price sharpness Picture as a whole
Cons
  • Aftofocus

Good product, I recommend that you try it.

I decided to buy a lens . out of everything I chose on the market, I picked up only this (L)-series was not considered because of the price. In general, I am more pleased than not pleased with this device, but still it misses, there are flashes, it smears, there are inaccuracies and graininess, I noticed this when I shot from (L-ki). I bought a flash 580, the misses became smaller. With an increase from 200-300, the difference in quality is not particularly noticeable, a good macro of…

Pros
  • Price, focal length, a 300 stub is necessary and works well if the hands do not shake much. It blurs the background quite interestingly both with macro and with magnification. I use with Canon 550 and EX580 / . Who is looking at a telephoto and is confident in his hands, take it without a stabilizer. cheaper for a beginner as I recommend. buy a lens hood right away.
Cons
  • You can shoot them only during the day or with a flash (the camera puff is not quite weak) if in the twilight I recommend switching to manual focus, you will be less upset when you view the footage. This is probably the only negative that you need to switch to manual mode.

I am amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

After the purchase, he was disappointed with him, he pretty much lathered on large focal lengths. I gave the lens for adjustment at the office. Canon service. The procedure is not cheap, but after adjustment, even at 300mm, sharp shots are obtained. Best sharpness at f8-f9.5. So, whoever is not satisfied with its sharpness, bring it into alignment. Regarding its "darkness", at 300mm and f5.6 at a distance of 3m, the depth of field will be only 2 centimeters, and at a distance of 100m the…

Pros
  • Excellent value for money for what you can get. Focal lengths of 70-300mm on the crop turn into 112-480, which is more than enough for handheld shooting. Excellent working stabilizer. Fairly fast autofocus, though not usm. Sufficiently sharp in the entire range of the FR (after adjustment).
Cons
  • No hood included and no red stripe. The front lens rotates when focusing. If you install the native lens hood the other way around (to the transport position), then it closes the focus ring. It is more convenient to use a rubber folding hood.

The best thing I've ever used, a great item for everyone!

I use it in conjunction with a Canon 50D for bird photography. Even in cloudy weather at 70-220 it gives a very clear picture with pleasant colors. I often photograph at 300mm, here it works "by mood". Sometimes it lathers quite strongly, and sometimes the picture is very clear, with an excellent rendering of the bird's feather (even in bad light!). Using the 50D rate of fire, I take a lot of shots, usually a few are sharp, even at f / 5.6 (although it's better to set it narrower). There are…

Pros
  • An excellent stabilizer, focusing speed pleases, in the range of 70-220 it is very sharp, reproduces colors well, gives beautiful bokeh, especially in backlight. Well-thought-out design, the presence of a trunk lock.
Cons
  • I bought it for 15,000, I am very pleased, but now it is in some places and over 20 thousand fills up. Still, it's too expensive. In the 220-300 range, the picture is not always clear, especially in poor lighting conditions - this is the main drawback, there are no other serious ones.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

No minuses as such, comfortable to use.

I needed a lens in this range. After analyzing the reviews, I went to choose between a sigma 70-300 with a stub (I have a staff member sigma 17-70? I know all the sores) and tamron 70-300 with a stub. They were not in one place, this canon looked. After it I went to watch Sigma - I liked the materials, the zoom moves smoothly, but the autofocus is slow and noisy, although ultrasonic, Tamron did not look. Returned for canon. I also bought a used hood with a "suede" coating inside. Liked the…

Pros
  • Stabilizer, fast focusing, workmanship.
Cons
  • There is no hood included, and without a hood it is impossible to shoot.
