    Right part for fluid tanks

    I ordered the right part and everything was fine until I found that the one on my car stopped flowing. So I just put it aside until I need it. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was because I don't "love" the details!

    ZERO COMPLAINTS, VERY GOOD AND TIGHT!

    I ONLY BUY IT BECAUSE YOU CAN'T BUY RUBBER EYELETS SEPARATELY, AT LEAST EVERYWHERE I LOOK. Contrary to other reviews, I have a feeling this was an exact match for what appeared to be a GM OEM part!

    NOT worth it. I gave 2 stars because it is the same size and the description was correct. . The thing is so flimsy that it almost snapped when installing it on the master cylinder. The lid doesn't fit well. Leaking brake fluid while driving. The old lid didn't close well. I ended up throwing it away and had to replace the entire master cylinder.

    1995 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4

    1995 Dodge 4x4. Now all I needed was the reservoir and its rubber bushings (I had old/rusted/leaking) but I found that for only $10 you could buy the entire master cylinder block WITH reservoir on other sites. That's ridiculous. So I bought the whole block and removed it from the top as my grommets were leaking (where it attaches to the master cylinder). So now I have a new master cylinder that I don't need. But the tank and the new gaskets work perfectly.

    This can cause leakage - Fluid Reservoir

    Manufacturer's tolerances may not match your master cylinder. Unfortunately it was very difficult to install, although it was claimed it would fit my 1999 Suburban, probably due to the tolerances of my master cylinder. The not-so-flexible seals didn't get installed until I took them out of the reservoir and installed them into the cylinder ports. I had to use bar clamps to slide them into the connectors because they weren't very flexible. It was also difficult to press in the tank. After…

    I wish they sold the bushings separately

    Rubber seals between master cylinder and reservoir on my Dodge Ram 96 where the leak is and instead of replacing the whole MC, bleeding the brakes etc I decided to try to give it Simply replace the reservoir and seals to avoid all of this. The good news is you can remove the original reservoir/seals and install a new one without opening up the system or bleeding the brakes. Not good news - far from it.
