Distance disabled but beep frequency works

I bought these for my two cats who love exploring my urban area. I have a raised rear deck overlooking a large shared driveway behind townhouses on a full block and so far they seem to be sticking to that area. I only release them when I don't need to leave the house or go to bed for a few hours so I have time to find them if they don't come back. The list of distances is long, but I was able to find them by walking in a direction until the beep speeded up or slowed down, changing direction as…

tracks 6 street cats easily

We have 7 cats, 6 of which roam our 8 acre woods fairly regularly. So far it's been fairly consistent, catching them from around 150 feet away and sometimes up to just over 300 feet (our area has a big hill and the occasional small valley, so the Bluetooth signal is shortened a bit). We even have a cat that likes to get lost in the woods and we had to use it to track him down and it helped every time. We haven't had to replace the batteries yet, so I can't comment on battery life, but it seems…

Useful - Best on Dogs

The description of this unit is mostly accurate so you get what you are told so if you get it and find it doesn't work, can't complain. not do what you expect so read the description carefully. It's a Bluetooth device, not GPS, so it doesn't tell you the coordinates of where your cat is, and the range is pretty short. It says "range 328 feet," which may be true, but so far my cat is up to 300 feet out of range. Basically, your phone will show how far your cat is from the phone, up to about 300…

You must know how to use it.

Suggestions for improvement:1. Allow recalibration based on the phone case or other elements that may affect the distance accuracy.2. Provide the ability to disable LED blinking or only while the software is running.3. Ability to increase power or use any relay/booster.4. Check out the hybrid Bluetooth/RF option. That way, if the pet is out of Bluetooth range, you can switch back to RF technology to get closer. To everyone's consideration: as others have said, range can be deceiving. However…

Recognizes your cat's movements!

I've been searching the internet for a pet tracker for two weeks. I highly recommend this cat tailer! It's better than any other cat tracking device I've seen. My cat "Miyu" is a house cat only. She is constantly finding new hiding spots around the house which means it can take me up to 20 minutes to find her if I need to take her to the vet or whatever. I had a cat tailer that fixed this problem right away. This is a very smart and effective device for tracking my cat. All the trackers I've…

Pros and Cons - Tracker

My cat is old and we turned her into an indoor cat. He still tries to get off at every opportunity. Having been captured before by the well-meaning Catwoman next door, we ordered this. Advantages: The battery is always charged. It is expected to last up to 6 months, unlike GPS trackers which are more accurate and cover distances but require constant charging. The likelihood that my cat would escape the day his device was fully charged and ready simply defied Murphy's Law. So this tracker solves
