💪 CE Smith-10000G Bolster Bracket with Swivel - Heavy-Duty 9-Inch Support Review

I am satisfied with this product. Although I wouldn't say this is great quality as there aren't that many options. I would hope that the top mount has a theta angle adjustment. There is only one angle setting.

I used these brackets to replace the original brackets on a 1996 tandem trailer, boat weight about 4700 lbs. They are stronger than the originals and work very well. No problem with these mounts, I use them in both brackish and salt water.

The old one had cut outs with small lugs to grab the trailer frame but this one has dimples instead of lugs to grab the trailer and doesn't slide. Good support for the middle of my 17ft monark with full live wells and water at the bottom of the boat.

The mount is built to last, but the pivot point is weak. I had to reinforce the turning part with scarves that I made. Today I unloaded the boat for the first time and folded the swivels like cardboard. Keep in mind that my boat and motor weigh less than 1200 pounds. The swivel arms are too light and don't work.

These are great heavy duty mounts! I used it to remake a Klammoth trailer and now I have the best boat thriller ever! (I lay wide boards with PVC) my boat glides like butter! (I also added yellow rolling hoppers with wheels to these mounts) AMAZING! I no longer have to fiddle with my boat loading and unloading. (These mounts are oversized and strong mounts!) Just make sure you get the right size U-bolts for them.
