Strong Fastener: Wood Screws

Instructions were helpful. Screws correspond to the description. Sleeves are not included, but if you have nails you can keep the same sleeves. The screw is self-tapping and will go at least 1 inch into the wood.

Pros
  • Fasteners
Cons
  • Wrinkled

The heads are quite small

They have a fairly small diameter and a small head. They expand the gutter and apex, and then become useless, leaving a hole in the gutter. I would recommend going for a larger diameter with a larger head, especially if you are replacing existing gutter spikes.

Pros
  • wood screws
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Not suitable for nail holes

Looks like good quality. Some of them had a 20 degree bend that could probably be ironed out. However, I should have paid more attention to size #14 as the threads are only 1/4" in diameter, just like the studs I removed. They should work fine for new gutters/holes but not as replacements if you plan to reuse bolt holes.

Pros
  • Screws
Cons
