Really helps get sticky dough out of bowls!

For cleaning bowls of sticky dough. Soft, flexible and really helps rock sticky dough. I wish it was colorful to make it easier to find.

Great scraper for the price!

I make pizza dough weekly and this scraper does the job perfectly. Flexible enough to bend around the contours of a mixing bowl, yet stiff enough not to feel brittle.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Annoying

Order a stainless steel scraper if you want to bake bread

Well that's a very cheap piece of plastic. It's not strong enough to work with bread dough, it bends. When making bread, I divide the dough after placing it in a preheated pan. Plastic melts on contact with a hot surface. Haven't thought about it. So, I have a flimsy piece of plastic with a melted edge. I will order a stainless steel scraper.

Pros
  • I don't hold cams
Cons
  • reliably

Fits pasta and pizza tools

I needed a plastic scraper that wouldn't ruin my marble countertop or the plastic cutting boards I use for yeast dough. (Most scrapers are metal). This scraper isn't as stiff as I was hoping, but it's billed as a "flexible" scraper so I can't take points off it. This scraper is not hard enough or sharp like metal to cut yeast dough into pieces. It takes a little pressure. But it's normal. It does the job.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Clarity

Not very useful Good for pizza cutters

Doesn't work very well. Bought to scrape sticky bun dough balls off their rising bowls. Switched to a wooden spoon as that scraper didn't get the job done. The opposite side (straight edge) can be used to cut softer dough, but it can't cut bun dough or scrape dry bits of dough off my work surface. I use a metal cutter for these jobs with better results. Might work for easier dough handling, but I'll buy a better bowl scraper for a little more money. They seem to have good ones for about $12…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • A little torn

Metal scraper not replaceable at high temperatures

Please note that I did not use the scraper as intended. I recently got a nonstick cooktop and you have to use silicone spatulas with it. I used to use a metal scraper (a wooden handle attached to a 4x6 or so strip of metal) as a "stopper" for my spatulas with my old cooktop, so I looked for something silicone equivalent for my new cooktop. Above. Unfortunately nobody seems to be doing anything like that. I thought the Chef Craft scraper would help, but it doesn't. Since it doesn't have a handle

This is amazing stuff!

I used to earn a lot of bread. I watched a video of someone using this tool and was impressed. I use it for mixing, scooping under the batter to add flour and dividing and slicing the batter. My fingers don't get as dirty, and if dough sticks to the kneading surface, just slide this little tool under the dough. I've used it with moister batter, corn tortilla batter, and every type of batter imaginable. The worst thing about baking bread for me really was getting my finger sticky (when I didn't…
