Difficult to clean but otherwise great

Pros: Silicone nonstick, bakes evenly, bread browns well and comes out easily. Cons: There are creases in the inner corners of the pan where the bread can get stuck and difficult to clean.

Pros
  • Durable surface
Cons
  • Almost everything included

Very useful baking pan

I bought this pan thinking it would be a utility pan for baking bread but it quickly became my favorite pan. The finish is incredibly durable and non-sticky. My recipe calls for oiling the pan before putting the batter in, but I'm considering stopping because not even the oil will stick to it. The bread comes out easily and is very easy to wash. With the lid on, it makes a nice square loaf for sandwiches. I highly recommend this pan.

Baking time may need to be adjusted, but still a great product!

Finally figured out how to use this toast pan. I also have a pullman. And when I started using the Chef's brand, my toast was a darker color. Now that I figured out the cooking material was a little thicker and adjusted the baking time accordingly, my toast came out perfect! For me, I have to take the chef out of the oven about 10 minutes earlier than the other. Good product! Very easy to clean. No complaints.

Perfect size for one or two

A YouTube recipe close to me made the dough too wet, but I added just enough flour to get it just right and it made a lovely bread. I know not to wash them in the dishwasher. and hand wash, and to avoid scalding with hot water I'll see how it holds up over time, but today is the first time...it was a winner. The bread is pretty with diagonal ridges. And deliciousOne needs to wait a little on the grate before demolding, and again wait for it to cool to cut. But Hume. Seriously Tasty4 inch cubes…

Good non-stick loaf pan

I was looking for a loaf pan with a lid and settled on this one. I first bought a US PAN Heavy Duty steel pan but it turned out to be too heavy. It's lightweight and has a good non-stick coating. At the bottom there are three small holes for ventilation. I was unaware of these holes until I received the item. The bread comes out a little damp at the bottom, so I usually take it straight out of the pan and place it on a wire rack to air out. The only thing I don't like about this pot is that the

Not as small as it looks

Important to know about this loaf pan: A standard US loaf pan weighs about 1.25 lbs (I'm no pro as far as I can see). It's a 1lb pan, so it's definitely smaller, but only 20%. At first I thought this pan was too small until I pulled out a Whole Foods Brioche and found it fit perfectly. Functionally, this is a good pan. I put a stop to the force as the lid doesn't snap and can slip when moving the pot. It's a minor annoyance, but not a deal breaker. Thanks to the lid, you can easily ferment in…

I didn't buy it to bake bread.

I bought this mold to use as a cheese mold. It was the only square shape I could find. The lid is very tight and even scratched the non-stick coating the first time I took it off. But luckily I'll arrange it and use the tee for cheese, not bread, so I don't care. It is a very strong and heavy metal. I can't bake to save my life, I think it probably handles heat well. There is a pressure hole at the bottom of the pot. I put it in the top rack of the dishwasher and it's ok. If I didn't have…

Bread Bowl Solid Product

My wife has recently become a bread baking fanatic and is always looking for new tools and methods to improve her product. I stumbled across these pans and immediately bought a pair. I'll go straight to P and C here: ADVANTAGES: 1. They are solid and very well built. They are a bit heavier than you would expect looking at them.2. While I understand how pans can flex, I can already see that they are likely to flex minimally during baking.3. The non-stick coating has a rough inner surface. As a…

Poor quality and fake reviews

Bought a silver bread pan with texture. At first I thought this pan was a great thing. It turns out that this pan has poor design and material quality compared to other professional pans made for bakeries. I actually bought a second skillet from the US. The differences are surprisingly obvious when used simultaneously.1. It takes twice as long to bake the same bread as a good quality pan. This is confirmed when I received the second pan for the first time. The result tells me that poor quality…
