Bought these on a reviewer's recommendation regarding the screws I used to install the floorboards. Two broken in total, which was MUCH fewer than I expected. It saved me a lot of time and money as I didn't have to go to a big store and spend a lot more on individual beats. If you're buying these for a floorboard or similar project, it's worth it! Great beat set!

I bought these for drilling floors in 7075 aluminum 80% before milling. These beats are amazing. I'm still working with my first bit, drilled a lot of holes and it's still sharp. I've used several other drill bits in the past and can often drill about 4 holes before the bit needs sharpening. So when I cut the floor I had a few of these and I sanded them through and then resharpened them. If you want to drill aluminum I recommend these drill bits.

You are perceptive and honest. They have cobalt in the metal, making them prone to edge cracking when they touch the last part of the cut. If you use a hand drill, this is what you expect. I was able to pierce the track bolts (grade 8) on the main link. If I had paid close attention to the pressure I was putting on the drill I would not have had any problems with the cutting edge breaking.
