Bought this kit to replace brake lines on one car and clutch lines on another. After replacing the brake line, my husband had no complaints, but he hasn't reached the clutch yet. He was happy with the amount of fittings as well as their color coating to see the differences. Can't comment on the durability of this line as it wasn't overly long, but it was a great set for the money.

Not too happy with this kit. 3/16 is fine. On the other hand, the 1/4 looked like it had been rolled through a bead roller and was oval. The fittings don't fit at all. I had to purchase a 1/4 roll from Oreili LLC to complete my project. I tried to contact the seller and left a voicemail but they never answered me. I will try again. I'd really like at least one more good 1/4 roll. Maybe I'll send it back with a note. hmmmmmm

I used these lines to completely rebuild the brake lines on a 1965 Chevy C10. I used a professional Eastwood brake flare tool to create dual flares on the tubes. Using a small amount of anti-seize on the ends of the tubes really made the job that much easier. In fact, I forgot to put it on one of the tubes and it was noticeably more difficult to flare that tube. Excellent set for routing brake lines. By the way, this is copper-nickel with a zinc coating, not zinc steel. I asked about it and was told it was steel but when I received it I was happy to see it was cupronickel as I really didn't want to handle steel. Anyway, it's all cut out, bent, puffed up, etc. like a charm. Lots of slots to work with.
