Amazing brown stirrups but black is NOT GOOD!

I bought the brown stirrups first and then ordered them in black. I loved the brown stirrups. I mean they changed lives. My leg stayed in place and didn't move during the ride. My feet and ankles didn't get tired and I no longer had problems with numbness in my legs. But the black stirrups didn't have the same rubber material on the insoles as the brown stirrups. The black stirrup material gets slippery when wet and doesn't hold up well. I was very disappointed in the black pair hence the lower

ONLY HAVE ONE! - Equestrian

At first I only received 1 and read and it was clearly said they were a pair. They are light weight but absolutely huge, much larger than regular stirrups which would look odd for my young daughter. They seem cheap to me, they never had "composite" stirrups, but I thought they would seem more advanced than the regular plastic stirrups they look like. At the same time hollow plastic. The track itself twists a little, which is probably pleasant to drive, although it looks like it's going to break

Good wide insole but jeans don't have them.

So I'm riding in my trainer's saddle and she's got a set of geniuses. This was my first time riding in stirrups with wide insoles and I was amazed at how much more confident it made me feel. Also, it was much easier to trot at a canter and keep the weight on the heels. Yes, when I saw the Jins price tag I almost died thinking there must be a cheaper alternative and my search ended at Compositi. These are good stirrups and I love the fact that they are so light. -- BUT they are not Jin. Far from

My legs feel better!

First I will tell you about foot problems: I have plantar fasciitis, tarsal tunnel and about 6 months ago I broke my foot and I am still in pain. I am currently in dressage level 2. Today I used these stirrups on my dressage saddle for the first time and the difference was amazing! I've used Stubben offset stirrups before, but the insole didn't have a nice wide cushion. When I get off my horse I usually hobble around and have shooting pains in my legs. Today I was able to walk normally and my…

Interesting design, economical

I heard about a girl in a barn after a couple of her friends bought it. I've always used regular steel stirrups but was looking for something lighter and safer... but definitely didn't want to spend $300 on fancy ones. Composti stirrups are very light and wide. The insole honestly doesn't flex or twist much, if at all, and creaks a bit, but it's comfortable. I had the pleasure of falling into them after a failure and my foot came out easily. One caveat: the edges of the plastic are a bit sharp…

  • Good product for the price

Comfortable, safe and help to achieve the correct position of the heel.

I LOVE this. At first I didn't notice a huge difference other than the fact that the saddle was easier to carry, but as the lesson progressed I noticed the lack of fatigue and pain. I found that they are much more comfortable than regular flat irons, they allowed me to trot much longer with much less lower leg pain and eliminated some knee pain I had on one side. They are also safe as the vicious horse I was riding tried to hit me back several times and I stayed where it was. I jumped into her…

Absolutely the best purchase I've ever made

Feel free to buy. This is the best purchase I've made in a long time. I have very painful back with sciatica in both legs. During long journeys, the ball of my left foot hurt and eventually nerve pain developed in my left foot. I've been using articulated stirrups for a long time, but they felt heavy. I am a dressage rider and my horse has a very springy trot. I had a hard time keeping my heels down and the traction pads on the articulating stirrups never gave enough traction. These stirrups…

Very comfortable stirrups!

These stirrups are great! I thought I wouldn't like them as I'm used to Phillis pivot irons. However, they have sufficient flexibility and a broad support base. After a few weeks of riding in these stirrups I ordered a pair for my jumping saddle! The wider support was excellent, and it was harder to lose the stirrup as the 'thread' catches (but doesn't hold) your boot (you'll still fall cleanly when you get out of the saddle.) Only downside is The threads make it difficult to adjust your foot…
