I had one when I was in high school. I used it to trim my hair at the back of my head. I am a girl and had a hairstyle where the back was shaved short and the sides were long. I have the same hairstyle now. My barber shaved my back and I use that to give it a neat trim. Works perfectly. And I don't have to go to the hairdresser as often, which saves me money. It can be a bit awkward to use and takes practice. And you can cut yourself if you're not careful.

I bought one of these at least 10-15 years ago, if not longer. Eventually the blade became too dull (I only used it for short haircuts). Surprised they still make it and the design is exactly the same. I had one 55 years ago when I was a teenager. Then I used it for my beetle hairstyle and had to go to the hairdresser less often. Now at my age I only use it to tidy up loose hair between cuts. I've been using these Conair trimmers for years to help me trim my hair. As long as I have a comb, barber scissors, these trimmers, and a portable mirror to see the back of my head in a vanity mirror, I have no problem trimming my hair after the shower. It is best to use the trimmer on wet hair and eventually the trimmer will need to be replaced when the blades become dull but they will last quite a while.
