Best belt you can buy

I have used these belts on every vehicle I work with. If you have chirp, this will solve your problem. I have a pulley that doesn't seem to align properly, but this fixed the noise. I had a Dayco belt but this one is way better! This belt was installed on a '98 Jeep Wrangler with a 4.0 engine and air conditioning.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Excellent quality, lasts a long time

I installed this on my 2005 Crown Vic and will be replacing it after 50,000 miles. I only swap it out for time/mileage but it has no cracks or excessive wear. It's a bit stretched as you'd expect, but I'll keep it in the trunk as a spare. I just bought this particular strap again as a replacement.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Band

Very snake-like, such a belt, wow.

It was actually a good belt, if a little tight. It's a bit difficult to fit pulleys compared to comparable NAPA parts and auto shops, but it's actually a better quality belt (never thought I'd say that about a ribbed belt). No slipping, it's quiet and really good. be a snake belt. Just don't ask him to do anything else and you'll be fine.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Gatorback Belt. on Belts

Had one of these on my Crown Victoria before, then Midas Store replaced it with a factory model when a friend borrowed my car from a service and tried to help me with the service. The factory belt squeaked between shifts, leading me to believe my transmission was defective. I noticed a different belt before going to the transmission shop, confirmed by a friend and ordered a different Gatorback. Smooth, firm and silent shifting! Love it.

NOT as advertised

I ordered this belt for my Ford Crown Victoria as it was claimed to fit my car which has had a major overhaul and of course all new spark plugs, injectors, coils, filters and fluids a new V-belt. This happened in August and unfortunately through September due to pending parts orders. When I installed the belt before launch, I found that it did NOT fit as advertised. It's been 5 days since the "return window" so I'm now stuck with a $30 belt I don't know what fits! I think I'll buy local fromโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Some imperfections

I really need a new belt

Good belt, reasonable price. replaced my original serpentine in my 05 Merc Grand Marquis. The installation itself turned out to be easier than I thought, taking around 3-5 minutes. Just follow the belt pattern on the sticker in the engine compartment. If your decal pattern is lost or missing, simply take a photo or video of how your strap is sitting and replace the new one with the same pattern. If you don't know how to install this belt yourself you can either pay a mechanic to do it or watchโ€ฆ

Pros
  • everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive
