At the right price.

We bought one for $11.99 to make sure we like it before buying more to replace the handles on all our doors. We installed it, loved it and thought it was worth the price, so two days later I ordered ten more. The price rose to $23 a piece. I don't know why there is such a jump in price but I will not buy any other pens at the current price. Definitely worth the $11.99 we originally paid, but not strong enough to pay $23.

Great pen for the money

I have the black version. They appear light and cheap at first glance, but are surprisingly strong once installed. I'm impressed with a few very small features. First, there's a slot in the strike plate that allows you to use a screwdriver to adjust how tight the door closes - awesome! Second, there's a notch in the set screw assembly that acts as a lock nut to keep the screws in place - let's see if it holds. Kudos if it keeps the grips from loosening. The black color has a nice matte finish…

DO NOT BUY if you want a round latch

I have purchased 3 doorknobs on 2 separate occasions and never received the correct latch. The product description states that the latch can have a square rounded corner or a mortise option - this is not the case as it only comes with a rounded corner. Copper Creek's website shows that the rounded tongue is removable to access the round drive in the latch, but that must be outdated information as everything under the tongue is welded in one piece and you're not just pulling the latch out be…

Not great and delivered with a defect.

We bought 12 of these doorknobs for our home and hired a professional to install them as we replaced our original mortise locks with cylinder locks. At first glance they looked great, albeit a bit lighter and cheaper than originally expected. It was only after our contractor installed 3-4 that he noticed a factory defectβ€”a chipped paint missing from the handles. This also applied to the pens, still packaged. I called Revain to find out and was told that "the missing color is in a place you…

They work well for door hardware and locks

I received these and during installation I was wondering if the screw sizes were wrong. Luckily they were the right size. It was just paint on it. What I found helpful (for me) was installing the screws in the handles before attaching the door handles together, removing the excess paint. did it with all of me It worked like a charm and no installation issues. As others have noted it's a bit tight with a screwdriver, you're bound to scratch the handle if you're a little aggressive with them…
