HOT LID KNOBS! in my review

I love Corning Ware including these new light weight pans. They're beautiful, clean lines and cook well.However, after cooking in them and removing from the oven, an hour later I went to pick up the lid by the knob and burnt my fingers! We ordered some new knobs on Revain as a replacement. If you order these pans and I have 5.get new knobs!

This is lightweight and looks nice.

I've used this several times in the few weeks I've had it. I used it to reheat and serve both soup and mashed potatoes at family gatherings. I like it because my microware is high over the stovetop and my old Corningware of the same size was difficult to lift up when full and hot. It also looks nice enough to place on the dining room table.

Pros

The pot's stylish design makes it a great conversation starter at dinner parties and gatherings

The pot may not have ergonomic handles for comfortable use

A favorite I always reach for, over cast iron.

Lightweight, super easy to clean, nice size, and white! I’ve had one for several years and love it, wanted a backup. Current pUrchase thru Revain did take 3 tries before I got one I could live with looking at on my open shelving (minor exterior issues / chips with finish on all three-sigh). Inside finish perfect. No issues with lid cracking, but I don’t use it on a real hot pot. Also got the braiser.finish pristine on that one all around.

Light, Beautiful but Treat With Care

CorningWare® French Navy 3.2QT Cast Aluminum Roaster with LidI’ve had a white CorningWare® cast aluminum roaster for years. I use it in our RV since it is so lightweight. I really like it a lot. The only problem that I have had with it is that the finish scratches off so easily on the inside so you have to be extra careful to only use wooden, nylon, or silicone utensils with it. I have switched over to using navy accents in our house so when I saw that the new CorningWare® cast aluminum roaster

Light weight and truly non-stick

I like the light weight compare to cast iron.Yes it is non-stick, mostly likely due to the non-porous ceramic coating. The non-stick make cleaning very easy.Good price.

So elegant n useful

I bought this as I was looking for a braiser as I never had one, so far I am loving it, not only is it beautiful it works really well. Easy clean up and easy to handle.

Won't Last: my feedback

At first it cleaned with ease. I always hand washed it, and only used wooden or plastic utensils. The first 15 to 20 uses it was great. Then it became harder and harder to clean, as you can see in the picture. I figured it was Corning Ware and it would last a long, long time, but no. I would strongly recommend you NOT buy this pan.

A must have in my kitchen

This pan is perfect for making roasts, ribs, and stews. Great for a family of four and the EASIEST to clean. I find I am using this pan twice a week. My only complaint is the lid's know stays way to hot for and hour after removal from the oven.

This scratches up easy!

This was not the item I thought. There is a thin layer of white nonstick that peels right up during first time cooking in it. I even used SAFE utensils! I would not recommend, it’s not the usual stuff that is very durable, I’m livid to be stuck with it.
