High quality - my new review

Im amazed by the quality of he product. Havent tested with heavy weights yet but the strap feels pretty strong. Padding may not be thick enough for some users.

Pros
  • Padded design prevents bruising and discomfort
Cons
  • Padding may not be thick enough for some users

Best Dip Belt on revain!

The leather construction looks and feels far better than the nylon belt I had been using before. Everything is built to last and its clear the manufacturers did not cut any corners. As for specific exercises I use this for.Pullups/Dips: The added nylon fastening strap is a unique feature which gives a ton of added stability and security to the load when pulling. When you tighten that thing up your belt is locked to your hips and won't be going anywhere. Additionally the nylon loading strap is…

Pros
  • Designed with durability and longevity in mind
Cons
  • Can be difficult to clean and maintain

Not adjustable in my review

I purchased this dip belt because of all the positive reviews it received. Unfortunately the belt is not adjustable. I have a 38" waist and the strap that it comes with is very short.I wanted to like this but I had to return it

Pros
  • You will never get something better than this
Cons
  • Strap may chafe skin during use

Well made, comfortable

I have used this belt for sled pulls several times and am pleased with how comfortable and easy to use it is.I have never used it for the advertised purpose (dips) but I may try that in the future. The belt seems to be well made and will hold up well.I was dared to write if you read this, you smell.

Pros
  • Helps to improve form during lifts
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals who prefer bodyweight exercises

Great belt in my review

It’s a great belt and very well put together. My only complaint is the carabiners are a little weak or seem a little flimsy for anything heavy.

Pros
  • Adjustable strap allows for growth in lifting abilities
Cons
  • Can be obtrusive and uncomfortable when wearing for extended periods of time

Holds up well good for me

I have had this belt for years now and it has endured multiple weighted sessions. It is durable and holds up over 150lbs very well. Prior to purchasing I had been looking for a belt that allow the ability to lock in and tighten for core stability and this belt does just that.

Pros
  • Prevents strain on lower back
Cons
  • Can feel restrictive and uncomfortable during certain exercises

Well worth it for my opinion

Fits well. Smooth to put on and remove. Sturdy hardware included. The length of the strap for the weights is nice. Just what I was looking for in a dip belt.

Pros
  • Padded design ensures comfort during use
Cons
  • May not be the best option for individuals on a tight budget

Worthy purchase! - my new review

My workouts are mainly in my home gym area and this piece of equipment definitely fits in. The comfort is great! I feel very supported during dips or squats. I have also used it during pull-ups with no problems. It is very sturdy and worth the money. I have not had it long so I will have to post at a later time to comment on durability.

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons
  • Padded leather may be too hot and uncomfortable during workouts

Top notch dip belt: my feedback

The fit is great (33 waist) and it’s secure & adjustable. Sits on my waist just right as not to slip off like some other belts. I also use this for sledding, but you’ll need to add a 2’ nylon strap. Belt is very comfortable as it’s nicely padded.

Pros
  • Helps to improve grip strength
Cons
  • Padding may hinder flexibility during certain exercises

Best weight belt ever

I've been lifting for over thirty years and have never used a belt as nice as this one. It's comfortable, solidly made, durable, and functional. The design is perfection. I have only ever used similar belts with chains. This one has not only a sturdy strap but also the strap is rubberised on both sides which is a nice touch. The cinch strap is rubberised on one side which helps hold it in place. It's quiet and smooth to operate without clunky chains. I've only used it with kettlebells but I…

Pros
  • Helps to target specific muscle groups during workouts
Cons
  • May not fit comfortably on individuals with larger chests or breasts

So much better than the old standard!

This is a very comfortable yet serious dip/chin belt. The added belt and buckle make it super easy to keep it in place while the extra tough/extra long strap makes it simple to add a ton of weight without being impossible to move around. I love this belt!

Pros
  • Can support weights of up to 270lbs
Cons
  • May make it difficult to perform certain exercises

Great Design, Durable Construction

I can't possibly praise this product enough! Before this, I was using one of those old-fashioned weight belts that has the chain in front, meaning the only way to adjust the weight is to take the whole belt off. That is extremely annoying and difficult in the middle of a workout, especially when you are dealing with a lot of weight. This belt greatly improves on the traditional design by having the strap that holds the weight separate from the belt, meaning you put the belt on and then attach…

Pros
  • Suitable for use in a variety of settings
Cons
  • May not provide enough resistance for individuals with extreme strength levels

Amazing product on my review.

Just opened my package and immediately tried it on, and boy this thing is so sturdy and it feels high quality. I never write reviews, but this deserves one!

Cons
  • Cannot be used as a standalone fitness tool

High quality, great value

Never been disappointed with anything I've bought from Dark Iron. I bought straps and a neck pad for squats. Both are wonderful and used. This is just well made, comfortable, quality stuff.

Pros
  • Flexibility in using with different weight plates
Cons
  • May be too bulky for individuals who prefer minimalist workout gear
