I ordered it at the end of November and installed it as soon as I received it. Works well just like a starter every day at least 4 times a day should. Just keep the old nuts from the starter on the machine as they are brass nuts and are of a much better quality than the ones that come with this starter. Status July 2018 and the starter still runs perfectly, powerfully and quietly as it should be. So don't be afraid of the low price :)

I saved about $130 waiting a week for this starter to arrive compared to buying it the same day at my local parts store. By all descriptions it is the same part from the same factory. So I waited. Luckily I have another car. This is for a 2002 Saturn SL2 model and is a little tricky to install. The top screw is only visible in the mirror. Installation of medium complexity. After the installation it works great and so far without any problems. Give it a year and we'll see how it holds up.

This starter has very good build quality and looks like the OEM version. It fits snugly and is bolted directly to the engine. It works great too. My only complaint is a small one. The terminal arrangement differs slightly from the OEM version. It's obvious when they're around. It's harder to know where to make connections when you're under a car and working in tight spaces. Therefore, before wiring, make sure you understand the correct location of the terminals.

I had an intermittent "won't jump" situation with my '93 Saturn SW1. This piece was half the lowest price I could find at my local store. Search the web for "93 Saturn Starter install" and there are some good videos there. Took me about an hour to get it out and less than an hour to put it back on. You have to put your car on the ramp to get there as it's about 1/3 of the way up. The shipping was SUPER fast and the product was well packaged. This came to me on Easter morning (24 hours) AMAZING!

I was worried it wouldn't work properly on SL2 '94 after reading a lot. Someone has complained about installation problems. Aside from being a total pain in the ass when you actually get the job done while lying on your back under a car, thank god it fitted right. This has been working fine for a few weeks now. The only thing that worries me is that you can't put a dirt screen on it because it differs from the original design. I have a feeling that enough splashes under the car could short out…

This Saturn starter was the perfect replacement. My old starter would occasionally stall and crank the engine slowly like the battery was dead, but it was a good battery.
