I use this to add weight to my trailer and add 200 pounds of weight to the box. It looks very waterproof. I'm 230 pounds, standing on him and he sagged just a little in the middle. You must leave a 1.75 inch gap between the back/hinge side of the box and the rails on your trailer because when the lid opens, the hinge design swings the lid back.
