As a tenant, I didn't want to spend too much on a hammer. This is a thin cast metal pot. Installation is easy. 2 screws and done.

Sturdy, beautiful and easy to install. Does exactly what it's supposed to do and visitors have already used it. It complements our mid-century style door beautifully.

I bought this to ride a bodyboard I made for my baby. It's easy to install and works just like a door knocker. It's holding up very well (and that's due to the toddler's heavy play; I suspect it'll hold up even better with normal use around the front door).

Unfortunately I wasn't aware the screws for my existing brass door knocker are closer together. The installation does not work for existing holes in my steel front door. Will be returning this and will search the internet for more, focusing more on fittings. (Couldn't find anything locally that might work!)

The metal was so thin there were actually two pinholes. Yes, you can see the light through the 2 pin holes. There are pouring/injection plugs on the back of the hammer and it looks like two of these have fallen off leaving two holes for the pins. The product comes with two 1" wood screws which may not be ideal if you are installing on a metal door.

Feels very cheap which is not surprising given the price but feels good when it is installed. Nice finish, overall a good product. A limitation during installation; The hammer has a "good" and a "bad" side. Not a big deal, but I had to take it off and flip the hammer to put it on the prettier side because I wasn't paying attention.
