Great value for money but you might as well throw "instructions" in the trash. Couldn't figure out how to install. I had to hire a handyman.

What were you thinking? This is a great looking piece that should easily install in minutes. However, after trying to separate the socket cover from the inner panel for over an hour, I gave up and sent it back. From the appearance of the torn packaging with the parts unpackaged, I assume this part has been returned before for the same reason. The instructions were a joke. Do the people who do this think it's not a problem? If there's a trick to separating parts, why not include it in the guide?

I have purchased several kits for new doors. First I mounted the passage lever. The instructions are a bit simplified. It took me a while to realize that the rose was detaching from the handle to put it in. It comes with it on the handle so it looks like it's made out of one piece. Finally got it. The second sentence was the data protection sentence. Again the escutcheon is attached to the inside handle and this time I CANNOT take it off to install. I tried another set and the same problem. I…
