🔋 DEWALT 20V MAX Cordless Vacuum: Powerful and Portable Wet/Dry Cleaning Solution (DCV517B) Review

I bought this appliance to vacuum pet hair that collects on stairs and in the corners of my house. It's okay IF I can catch up with them. The problem with this design is that the holes that the air exits through direct the air downwards. I throw strands of hair everywhere and have to chase them. I'll probably put a small barrier under the connectors to prevent air blowing. This should certainly have been taken into account when developing this tool. Otherwise I would have given it five stars.

I got this thing about 5 minutes ago. I put the battery in, turned it on and it has plenty of vacuum. After about 3 minutes of use, the filter has already closed and the vacuum has disappeared. When I went to dump the dirt, there was less than a handful of dirt in it. I patted the filter until it looked clean and tried again. The same, at best 2-3 minutes. Slightly disappointing compared to other Dewalt cordless picks I've bought. Pros: Uses the same 20V battery as other Dewalt tools. Area where the front nozzle does not fit. Filter and waste bin are easy to remove, empty and clean. Smaller Dewalt batteries can be used if only 20v is used elsewhere and you just need a quick clean.
