Type of review

We just had our first child and during the course of setting up the baby's room we realized we needed a way to reduce the light level in the room at night when changing diapers, etc. I bought this unit to match another I had in the house aesthetically. I like it because you operate it normally with the rocker switch, but then if you want to turn down the lighting level you can using the discreet slider. This seems to not put as much wear and tear on the dimmer slider as it infrequently is…

Pros
  • The color order brown and I get a white one other wise the dimmer works great
Cons
  • More expensive compared to non-dimmable switches

Work great if you use the recommended bulbs (for dimming)

I original installed and could hear a humming noise from the dimmer went set between 10%-70%, but noise went away once over that. I had the old bulbs in there but still under the recommended wattage. I bought Sunco Dimmable BR30 LED 11W (65W) bulbs and once they were installed the humming noise went completely away at any dimming level. The Sunco lights on the box itself show what dimmers to use (around 6). I bought this one and glad I did. Only reason I gave a 4 star for installation was…

Pros
  • Works good for dimmable LEDs.
Cons
  • May cause bulbs to burn out quicker

Dims Four Great Eagle BR30 LEDs Fine

This Lutron DVWCL-153PH-WH Diva Dimmable CFL/LED Dimmer with Wallplate, White works well with the Great Eagle (6-pack) LED BR30 3000K Dimmable Bulb. 13 Watt (65W 75W 90W) UL Listed Bright White Light for Recessed and Track Lighting Fixtures - USA Seller .I have the dimmer controlling four of the Great Eagle LEDs in a 3-way (two switches) configuration.Be aware that that is a secondary dimmer "trimmer" slider accessible from the front of the dimmer before you install the switch…

Pros
  • ‎11 x 6 x 7 inches
Cons
  • May require regular maintenance to prevent defects

Works Great - my new review

I bought this switch to go with the Ensenior 6 Pack 6 Inch Ultra-Thin LED Recessed Ceiling Light with Junction Box (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08KG3QN1M/) I bought to go in a shop. The switch was easy to install. Basically the same as all other switches and outlets I've installed. It's worked perfectly the last 6 months since I installed it.

Pros
  • ‎IP54
Cons
  • May not be as energy-efficient compared to non-dimmable switches

A great dimmer, works with practically all LED's

Tends to make less RF interference than others if that concerns you as well. It's especially good if you don't adjust the dimmer much. That's a small slider to the side, leaving the main part to just turn it on or off as you set the dimmer. Very easy to switch with an elbow or whatever too.

Pros
  • Tested on 1,000s of bulbs and dozens of brands for flicker-free dimming. For list of recommended bulbs view "Compatibility Chart"
Cons
  • May require frequent adjustment to maintain desired brightness level

Excellent dimmer switch for all kinds of bulbs

This works great with LEDs (and it claims other types too). I have it installed to control the vanity lights in our master bathroom and the range of light it allows for a set of four LED bulbs goes from a very dim, gentle light that I like for mornings while I'm getting ready for work early enough that its still dark outside (I like to wake up a bit slow), and it easily goes up to full brightness for all the wonderful tasks we get to do in front of bathroom mirrors. One detail I like too is that

Pros
  • ‎Lutron
Cons
  • May not function in extreme temperatures or weather conditions

Great find for my opinion

The switches are wonderful, we have 9 in our basement and they make it feel like a movie theater if we want or are super bright. We had our contractor install them (he also picked them out for us) so I can’t speak to how easy or hard they are to install. I’m going to assume that they must not be hard since our contractor chose them. And reasonably priced compared to the ones in the big home improvement stores. Would definitely buy again.

Pros
  • ‎1 Degrees Fahrenheit
Cons
  • May not be compatible with certain types of light fixtures

Worked immediately, easy install

Worked great, installed in minutes. My first dimmer would not turn off, it had constant power. This one works flawlessly

Pros
  • ‎Dimmer Switch
Cons
  • May require bulbs with specific wattage to work properly

My electrician preferred brand.

When scheduling installation of some new light fixtures my electrician told me to pick up a couple of dimmer switches and specified the Lutron brand. He said it was the brand of choice for him, and they seemed to be installed very easily, I am not a Diy’er by any means but for those that are I believe the installation would be a piece of cake. The dimmers go well with the other switches in my home and worked like a charm I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this brand again and revain actually had the…

Pros
  • Great dimming results, fits well in existing switch box. Would give 5 stars but us
Cons
  • May require a specific type of wall plate for installation

Works well with LED lights, but feels cheap.

Functionally, this switch works as advertised. I bought two and wired them both up without any issues.Pros: works perfectly with LED retrofit lights (Commercial Electric T60 & gimbal versions). I wired four recessed LED fixtures in series after this switch and they all come on together and dim in unison, so bravo there. no buzz, flicker, or odd dimming once properly adjusted. On the bare face of the switch, in the lower left corner there is a tiny little switch which allows you to adjust the…

Works but doesn't impress.

I have had Lutron dimmers in my home for over 12 years and just decided it was time to switch out my incandescent bulbs for LEDs. After putting dimmable LEDs in fixtures attached to old-school Diva switches, I had mixed results so purchased this 3-pack of CL Diva switches and a single one.First off, with regard to this specific product (the 3-pack), all three were, in fact, the CL Diva switches and they were new unlike some of the other reviews. However, unlike the single one, the 3-pack didn't

Pros
  • ‎1 Kiloamps
Cons
  • May cause bulbs to emit a humming sound

Looks nice and works well

Nice dimmer switch. I did not use the 3-way wire, but the single-pole application installed very easily and I even have a junction in the box to carry power to an outlet below. Despite the size of the switch, everything still fit in a regular sized box. The sienna color was a little more brown that I was expecting at first, however, it ended up matching pretty well with the copper outlet covers I had purchased. I am using two of these with Ensenior recessed LED's. One room has 2 lights and the…

Pros
  • ‎1.0 Count
Cons
  • May not be durable enough for heavy use

One of the best overall LED dimmers.

We have used a variety of LED dimmers over the years. These are our go to product. They have proven reliable as long as they are not installed in a rural property that experiences regular and significant voltage spikes (we have yet to find an electronic dimmer that holds up in these conditions). Relatively compact body which is important in over stuffed electrical boxes. Works with the majority of LED light fixtures, but not all. We continue to have challenges with certain light fixtures where…

Pros
  • Great dimmer switch and the design keeps with all my other outlets
Cons
  • Bulbs may get hot when used at full brightness

Unlike the single-pack box of the same dimmer switch, the 3-pack doesn't include any twist caps. This is fine if you are installing with all 4 wires, because normal twist caps will work. But if you are doing a 3-wire installation and need to cap off the unused 4th wire, you'll have a hard time finding a small enough twist cap to tighten onto a single wire. That's annoying. But everything else about these switches is absolutely perfect!

Pros
  • ‎40 Degrees Celsius
Cons
  • May not be compatible with certain types of light switches
